Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaCharging for luggage storage is not OK. The bar was not opened at all across our stay but we were able to use the bar space to hang out. Washer and driver are expensive for a hostel style property.
We thoroughly enjoyed the communal facilities at this property. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen was large, spotless, and fully equipped. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout our three-night stay. Additionally, the hotel's location is within walking distance to all essential amenities. We were so impressed that we have already booked another property in the same group for later this month.

United KingdomThe sink in our room didn't drain well. Another sink in the kitchen was blocked.
The hotel provides good, clean simple room accommodation at a reasonable price. The breakfast is good. There are also some (limited) kitchen facilities. Happy to recommend it.

United KingdomNothing bad to say!
Great stay in Bordeaux. It's not the most central location, but the Tram is only 5 minutes walk away which gets you into the centre within 5-10 minutes. The hotel itself was very clean and made for a great stay. Very simple check in, no fuss and had everything I needed in my room!

IrelandThe breakfast was a bit dull: I don't eat hummus, salad and falafel in the morning. People from the residential apartments opposite can see into the room. The room does not have a safe so you have to carry your valuables with you to breakfast. The fact that you are requested to sort out your tableware at the end of breakfast: I paid the hotel a hefty sum to do this and I think I ought to avoid work whilst on holiday. Hotel very geared towards groups of young (apparently affluent) generation with pool tables you etc.
I liked the space and the quiet when I was there. Very handy for the train station. There was nothing really stand-out about this hotel. There were a few minor negatives but nothing that would necesarily put me off staying there again.

United KingdomMy main gripe was the level of comfort provided by the beds. This was my second stay at this hotel and in this regard this comment applies to both stays but for different rooms. The mattresses on the beds provided soft and un-even support and the duvet was too heavy for me at this time of year. Overall on both stays I had a poor nights sleep. Which is a shame as in other respects the hotel was excellent.
I liked the way the breakfasts were organised and that it had a kitchen where guests could do their own catering. Also the level of cleanliness exceeded my expectations.

RussiaWhat pisses me off most: there is no phone in the room, so in order to ask for an iron you go down to the reception, ask for it and then they say: "Oh, we can give it to you only if you leave you id or passport as a guarantee". So you need to go back to your room, get it, then get back to the reception and wait for the queue to finish so that you could get an iron. Very clien-oriented approach. There is no room cleaning service every day until you ask for you. But basically we stayed 3 days so it was fine, no issue.
A total value for money. Located close to the train station, 5-7 minutes through the bridge to it, from where you can take a tram and get to the city center in 10 minutes (3 stops). The room is not big but was clean. Clean bed sheets, clean modern bathroom. Everything worked, we had no issue at all. Staff at reception were friendly, always ready to help.

AustraliaI had a major issue with the on-duty reception team rejecting important mail I had delivered to the hotel even though they agreed to do so ahead of my arrival. This cost me valuable time and money to go on a 20km round journey mission to retrieve it.
