Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomOn arriving alone late at 10.50 I had to ring the owner as I could not get in the property. She said I had not contacted her and she didn’t know where I was. I managed to get in however, with her help but felt like I had done something wrong, if she expected me to contact her I would have. I also had requested a late check in via booking.com app in case my flight was delayed.
Lovely room, nice people, very clean and great location.

United States of AmericaThis little Bed and Breakfast is a hidden gem. From the street it is just a non descript door on a slightly dingy street but once you’re inside it’s so adorable and super comfortable. Our extended family had 3 ground floor rooms and they all exceeded our expectations in size and comfort. It’s a very short walk to a huge beautiful park with fountains and stairs and games for kids. The street itself is full of super convenient shops and restaurants. The parking is slightly tricky but if you arrange it in advance it’s quite convenient. The hostess Delphine is incredibly attentive with her communication. The outdoor courtyard has a little soccer net which my daughter loved. A great place for kids. Wish we had stayed here more than just one night. It was the best shower I had had in 2 weeks of travel.

United States of AmericaLoved everything.
A real gem. A quiet little spot tucked away in a great area of Toulouse. Each room is different and beautifully decorated. The owner, Delphine, was very helpful and accommodating. Even letting us store our backpacks while we explored the city before our evening flight. Julie, who prepared our breakfast, was wonderful. They both spoke English beautifully…which was a huge bonus as our French was pretty limited!

United States of AmericaI really can't think or anything. I did regret spending money on a rental car. Everything we wanted to see, we could see on foot. The weather was cold and wet, but that had nothing to do with our accommodations.
Our host was wonderfully pleasant and spoke English quite well. The breakfast was wonderful and interacting with other guests made it even better,

United KingdomSmall thing but I found the large firm pillow not very comfortable.
Location was slightly out of the centre but close to a metro station - the metro is excellent. The room had a good bedside light and wifi, and was large and clean. Breakfast was simple but good quality and good value. Proprietor was very helpful, for example changing my duvet for a summer one. Breakfast in the garden would be lovely in summer.

CanadaOur room was big and beautiful. The whole vibe of this place is fantastic. Beautifully decorated, warm, cozy and fun. Our host Sandrine was incredible - so helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was good and there was lots of room for our bikes. Though it is a bit of a walk to the historical centre (20 minutes) there is a metro station near by and there are restaurants and a grocery store very close.

New ZealandThe TV was difficult to operate, otherwise we felt that our stay was perfectly catered for and no improvement required
The breakfast was excellent. The host provided a good variety of fresh bread, croissants, cereal, yoghurt and freshly boiled eggs, served with fresh coffee and fruit juice. The location was central and close to the stadium for the Rugby World Cup game. The room was away from the main house, in the garden and was beautifully decorated and comfortable. The 3 resident chickens were fun to have around and were mainly kept in the their chicken house then coming out occasionally. We were made to feel very welcome. The supermarket is directly across the road and metro and a laundry are close by.

FranceBecause the window of our ground-floor room opened into the enclosed public veranda, rather than outside, it wasn't possible to have it open much of the time. There was a stuffy odour when we arrived that persisted during the whole stay, although we did keep the window open as much as we were able. That said, it was a weekend of 35° heat, so maybe this isn't an issue at other times!
The owner is lovely, really friendly and helpful, and the place is very calm and quiet. There are lots of restaurants nearby (from cheap snack bars to expensive brasseries and everything in between) and it's a pleasant walk into the city centre through the shopping and restaurant district. Great public transport links too, very close to a main tram/metro interchange. The breakfast is excellent and great value.

United KingdomLovely quiet garden, a welcoming feel, relaxed and friendly team. Our children loved the outdoor space and the animals. Great breakfast too. Perfect for a short break. It would be even better if there were dimmer night lights or lower watt light bulbs in the bunkbed room so that children can sleep with a low light on. We had a great stay and would come back again.
