Very steep steps to rooms, not suitable for handicapped persons

Idyllic location. We were early because of car problem. Madame initially had a lot on her plate and we thought she was very abrupt and unhelpful but she was pleasant and accommodating afterwards and had her own problems that day which was unfortunate. Room and breakfast were fine and as expected. Lovely river right there and good choice of restaurants within walking distance. Would be happy to stay again and best wishes to her and her husband.

The room was up 2 flights of steep stairs, so would not be suitable for someone who wasn’t fully mobile. It would be difficult to carry a case up the stairs, but most people were only staying for 1 night so that was not a problem. The breakfast was basic, but the room rate was cheap so we didn’t expect more. The location and grounds are lovely. Unfortunately we had a problem with a key and were unable to get out of our room. The lady running the hotel and other guests responded quickly and we had a new lock on the door before nighttime.

The breakfast was good w/ lots of different breads, juice, coffee or tea to choose from. WLan decent. We liked a lot the several green areas and gardens surrounding the house. We also enjoyed the river directly passing the house. Nice little town with diverse facilities nearby.

The breakfast was good - Coffee/Tea a selection of bread and jam. No bar on site though a short walk to local facilities.

Unfortunately we did not request a room on the ground floor, and had some difficulty with the stairs to the room allocated, which are rather steep. Madame assisted us with our luggage and was sorry she had no alternative room to offer as she was fully booked.

Excellent location and superb setting beside the river. Quiet and peaceful - we slept with our windows wide open all night. The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean. A large bright bathroom with modern shower and plenty of hot water - just what you need after a long day travelling and walking around the tourist sites. There is a good selection of restaurants within easy walking distance. The prices are reasonable and the recipes feature the local produce. Breakfast in the morning was more than enough served by the charming Madame herself. Fantastic value for money. We will call again.

An extremely idyllic location, incredibly beautiful with accessible restaurants nearby. The owner was very professional. The surrounding landscape was so beautiful we spent the next morning driving around the valley.

Room somewhat tired and not serviced each day. Narrow and steep stairs. No fire escape other than the stairs.

Excellent location and very good breakfasts. Very interesting place to stay being an old mill by the river and with extensive gardens. Very quiet and several restaurants within a few minutes walk. Clecy very quiet but with a small supermarket and boulangerie.

The location is exceptional. Right by the river orne. Quiet and beautiful. Only the birdsong to disturb you. Breakfast is typical and good. A lovely place with good restaurants nearby along the river. Fabulous.
