Upgraded room upon arrival, staff were so accommodating , helpful and friendly. Location in the centre was perfect for our one night stop over.

They accommodated me and my two young daughters at almost midnight after we'd arrived at another hotel I wasn't prepared to stay at (!). The chap on reception couldn't have been more sympathetic and kind. Breakfast was great and the hotel itself is located in the heart of the city.

This is a truly amazing hotel and the perfect location to stay for the week of our daughter’s wedding. The staff did everything to welcome us and help us and I booked a room for my daughter the night before the wedding and she was treated to an upgrade and champagne. The spa is superb and we tried the Ambassadeur massage and a facial, both of which were really great. Thank you so much for a memorable stay. We will definitely return

United States of AmericaIf hotels would stop their policies and put some decent toiletries, it would be better. Breakfast was great, but i find the patisserie a little bit cold. Maybe because i was late. But still i have to mention it. Other than that i totally recommend this hotel. You won’t regret it.
Everything was excellent. The personnel were charming and welcoming, they were always smiling. I encountered a problem in my room and they dealt with it momentarily. Pools was nice in comparison to the city and what is available. Loved my stay.

United KingdomThe hotel staff were very friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. The location was about 20-25 minutes walk from the main station, and very easy to find. It is located in the old part of the city, with a lot of the roads traffic free. We spoke a little French, but nearly all the hotel staff we had contact with spoke French and English. We did not have any meals at the hotel, so cannot comment on the quality of the food, but we understand it was of a high standard.

FranceThe door to the toilet in the room was a sliding door which was noisy through the night, a different door is needed.
Had detailed email on how to get to the hotel due to the bollards in the town centre. The hotel was only 10 minutes from the Port of La Rochelle and shops and restaurants. They upgraded our room on arrival. Could not fault any of the staff. Had a lovely cocktail bar. Our dog was welcome throughout.

IrelandThe cost to get breakfast is ridiculous. Some guests would like breakfast one or two mornings in hotel during an extended stay when it's not included in their room rate, but the price here is too much for what is offered compared to other hotels. It's best to just go out for a coffee and croissant in local cafes which are numerous and good value. Bar and room service menu for a 5 star hotel should be better. Very limited food offering.

AustraliaWe were disappointed with the restaurant. It was expensive and mostly the food was excellent. It did not however meet our expectations for what we spent there. One young female staff member was not as pleasant and helpful as we had hoped. This was balanced by the exceptional service of one young man. We would not recommend the massage.
