I didn't particularly like the water cooler and the reusable bottle provided. It wasn't as convenient as intended, and I would have preferred a more traditional setup.

I recently stayed at a hotel conveniently located near all the major attractions, and I had a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any needs or questions.The hotel itself was beautifully decorated, adding a charming touch to the overall experience. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a convenient and welcoming place to stay.

The rooms are little, natural light is due to the central city location and an old building quite bad in the room but there are plenty of lights and the hotel needs some renovation- one elevator was broken all the 4 days of our stay, the carpets in the floor corridors were desroyed, deck and walls were damaged.

The location is great, breakfast tatsy, the hotel design is stylish!

Room was a little smaller than anticipated with only space for 1 chair. The 4 poster bed was a lovely visual feature but made the room feel rather more cramped.

You couldn't beat the location and view from the room. overlooking the harbour. We had warned the hotel we would be arriving late and they assured us the reception was manned 24/7, which was a great relief and staff were most helpful. Breakfast - both the setting and choice of food - was superb. Although it was only on the last day that we saw a member of staff in the kitchen cooking eggs to order. it was just a pity they didn't mention this was an option or we would have taken advantage.

The lift at the first floor has a step which makes you fall if you try to step out in reverse. The step is not marked with tape which could avoid an accident

My parents stayed in a suite here with a beautiful view. The staff were exceptional throughout, polite, caring and attentive. The suite was lovely. My parents reported that the breakfasts were excellent also.

The hotel feels very tired and scrappy, in need of some refurbishment. Not a good reflection of the Maisons du Monde brand.

Room cleanliness in general, revolting toilet sit unfit of a 4 star hotel. Years of uncleaned pee on the seat rim, just where you think you won’t look

Perhaps to be expected as we were there out of season, but the racket from the rennovation going on at the restaurant next door was a bit annoying. You’d be unlucky to experience the same though! Not sure the ‘view of the old port’ was worth paying extra for.

Great location, super restaurants very close by. Really near to public car park. Communal areas are stylish, as are the rooms. Staff friendly.
