Lovely small hotel in great location near the old port and restaurants. Parking short distance from hotel. Very pleasant owner who was helpful. Breakfast was traditional French style but at an exceptional price with good coffee.

It was impossible to book a taxi from hotel to the airport, the stuff provided us with a list of telephone numbers, but none of them answered at 8-30 in the morning

It was difficult to find the hotel. Better signage needed. Better parking advice would also be good.

- Harbor view was blocked, no prior warning. We paid extra for nothing - No power plug near the bed - No prior message to warn us that many car parks are closed around the hotel

Absolutely nothing, cannot recommend this hotel high enough for the price and location. If the wifes happy im happy.

Check in went very well, location was excellent, room was of average size, bathroom with shower was very good with plenty of hot water. Although some of the bedrooms are above restaurants, I can assure you the double glazing means you hear absolutely nothing. Air conditioning was great.

So ok, there’s no lift. However the stairs aren’t too bad. I was on the third floor and didn’t mind using the stairs at all. Nothing bad to say. I didn’t eat breakfast because I just prefer morning coffee and something light.

Excellent location , cosy hotel to come back to after walking here and there .My room was spacious and fresh. Very clean and neat. Very pleasant cleaning lady . I would recommend.

La Rochelle's one-way system is very complicated so getting to the hotel by car can be a challenge; the area around the hotel is pedestrianised, so you should expect to use a car park (the nearest one is about five minutes' walk away). On the other hand, this means that the area around the hotel is very pleasant and almost traffic-free, so there's a definite up-side.

Centrally-located, right next to the 'twin towers' of La Rochelle, with many cafes and restaurants on the doorstep, so an excellent base for a stay in the town. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the proprietor helpful and friendly.

There were only 2 power outlets and placed a bit uncomfortable (one in the corner of the room, the other in the bathroom). Being here with at least two people sets you up for a challenge to power your devices. Lastly, the toilet paper holder is in a very awkward place :')

Perfect location. Very doable from (free (on sundays)) parking spots to the hotel, also with luggage. Nice room (number 6) with comfortable bed.

The room was great, the position in the town was central to everything and the service was excellent. It was good value for money
