To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaThe apartments were well equipped, but some things didn't work. This was inconsequential to our stay and when alerted about the issues the staff responded to address the issues. Location was very central which is a double edged sword... it makes it convenient to get around but the area is quite congested. We knew that up front so it wasn't a major issue. The set up with two separate areas worked well for us and this was the real selling point of Apartment du Louvre. The only real complaint would be that it would have been nice to be able to get into our room earlier, but I understand these constraints and it wasn't a deal breaker.
The hosts couldn't have been nicer. They provided great suggestions for nearby restaurants and also information about the Champagne country which we were visiting while in France. They were also very helpful about how to use the subway to get around.

PhilippinesThe elevator is small and could barely fit 1 adult with 2 big luggages/ 2 adults with 2 children but I guess this is really how it is in apartments.
We love the accessibility to the Louvre, toy shops, various restaurants and groceries around. The main bed is comfortable; the sofa bed would do for kids. The kitchen is complete and the overall layout of the apartment is very efficient. Comes with nespresso too, you just need to buy pods if you have consumed all that were provided. The staff has also been helpful with all our questions and even helped us book a taxi going to the bus station (for a fee). They also have water (still and sparkling) machine available from 10am-6pm.

Wonderful location, very central, walking distance to lots of sights including Louvre and Notre dame. Easy to travel to from Airport and Disney on RER. Many nice restaurants, shops and cafes nearby. Very clean and comfortable apartment. So nice to find cleaning tablets for washing machine and dishwasher provided.
