There were enough space of living room and bed rooms for all 5 members of my family. Equipments include sauna room, washing machine, drying machine and so on and those were very useful and convenient. The location is a little isolated from the town and very quiet.

It was great location with view of the town. Close to the slopes and 20min walk downhill to town center. Lots of beds, we were five but we could’ve easily fit five more people. Very clean and cozy.

I little clear instructions on the sauna and maybe a smart TV with Netflix or some games for family bookings could be an added feature to an already great place.

This is a truly wonderful lodge with everything you need. Checking was a breeze, easy to find and access to the lodge and parking was excellent. I good link to local activity providers Husky who were also brilliant. We had to book this accommodation after being let down by by another local provider. However, it was a blessing in disguise.

My only feedback would be to say that it would’ve been great to have a TV that offered the option to chrome cast from streaming services as I was on my own with 2 young boys and after we had returned home for the day from activities it would have been helpful to be able to provide them with viewing options other than the small number of options on the TV. The property was a little distance from the town centre but we had a car so this wasn’t too much of an issue for us.

The accommodation had plenty of facilities and features for a comfortable stay for a few nights. We were able to prepare some light meals in the kitchen and it was very helpful to be able to use the washing machine and drying cupboard to wash laundry as we had been away from home a week by the time we arrived.

No kindling to light the fire. Lots of logs but difficult to start the fire without kindling or equipment to make kindling.

Location location location. Also stunning lodge made of logs. Very cosy. Plenty of space. We had more bedrooms than we needed so we put our suitcases in one of the unused rooms which made for a dressing room. We saw the northern lights from the lodge. It truly was a great location.

This did not affect our stay or our opinion of the apartment, but we didn't have a sharp knife for food preparation...that is the only (very small) negative.

The apartment was great! Very welcoming, warm on arrival with underfloor heating. The apartment was clean and excellently presented. Wood was provided for fires. And when we realised we had no firefighting supplies we contacted reception and they were straight around with matches and a lighter ;-) Thanks! One great addition was the drying cupboard for your laundry, but also worked well to quickly dry your gloves and coats when returning. And the views were great, so peaceful. It was a perfect location for our holiday.

Small double bed in the first room not enough for 2 peoples. Windows are locked everywhere. No fire place. Small area to sleep in the 2nd floor.

A bit difficult to get to without a rental car. From Saariselkä it’s either a ~40 min walk uphill or a taxi for roughly 20€.

Very cozy cabin, with its own personal sauna and a fireplace. Looks exactly like in the pictures. Quiet and comfortable, has everything we needed. Perfect for groups.

Really nothing bad to say. If anything, we would have liked to turn the heat down a bit more to use the fireplace.

This cabin was wonderful and very comfortable. The location above and just outside the town was great for aurora viewing. The included sauna gets very hot which we liked, after which you can go outside in a towel and flip flops to view the northern lights. The kitchen was well stocked with good cookware, and the heated floors were a nice touch for added comfort. The wifi worked very well. This cabin was very well built, there were no cold or drafty areas anywhere inside.
