I did not like that there weren’t any showers inside the glass igloos and that you needed to walk a few minutes to take a shower. Also, I didn’t like that upon check out there was no assistance in bringing the luggages to check out especially in the snow.

Friendly staff and very organized in coordinating the activities for you. The food in the restaurant was thoughtfully curated and delicious.

The Stay in Igloo was dream like and memorable experience for us

    - Food served in half board had no veg options and that was disappointing. There was just one thing and such bland and tasteless and where can you get anything in this jungle. They can make basic pizza if not anything else but chef refused for anything. On second day it was little ok that at least they made pasta but still even after informing there were no veg options. - Night Reindeer safari is waste of money and sledge was not maintained well - Deposit of 400 euro is too much

The stay in Igloo was really good. They were clean , warm and good for 2 people. The experience in sleeping with glass roof was superb. We took some activity like horse riding which was good and planetarium movie experience was also good.

    1. We were on the East side which is small and everything is on West side. There was better food on west side and greater options. We did not get any proper veg options on first day and had informed them but still there was nothing arranged even though there was an Indian chef on west side and we came to know he made good veg Indian dishes. 2. The night reindeer safari ride is waste of money as you cant see anything and they dont give enough time to wait for Aurora and sledges were very poor quality. 3. We booked ice karting and it was cancelled and after 2 weeks we are still waiting for refund of money 4. They ask for 400Euro deposit which is a surprise and every one was fighting about it and it took me 6 days to chase that deposit back after we checked out. 5. The biggest thing I would like to mention is lack of reception staff's knowledge and I should say zest to guide people. 50% of people travel to Rovaniemi from this resort but there was no information given to us when we asked about bus stops and tickets and actually they should display some information to help guest. They told people tickets will be available on bus and we and another family waited 2 hr on bus stop and were not allowed to board the bus so we came back to resort and wasted whole day and luckily got last bus otherwise where would we go. They should guide the guest for things apart from their resort activities selling at least when we asked about bus. There is an app for it and how do we know as we are not locals. so that was really disappointing and shows that they dont care for their guest overall but only seemed very money making attitude.

    1. The Chalet was good size and very beautiful inside. There was Sauna facility inside which was really good relaxing. 2. We did some activities out of which Horse riding was absolute fun 3. Even though west side is big but I think I liked East side as it is small and more private and less crowded

The shower in the cabin could have been better and the cabin could have been cleaned more thoroughly in between guests. The cabin and igloo is overpriced!

The breakfast was nice. The view from the igloo was nice and the cabin felt very cosy.

Some front desk attendants acted unprofessional. Even after mentioning the room shift service twice way ahead for the next day, She wasted our time and kept saying I don't know how to help if another person promised sorry I cannot fulfil the shifting of luggage, we don't have car available and we had to end up moving ourselves. It wasted us 2-3 hours. Otherwise the property and other staff at the restaurant are so friendly and welcoming.

In hindsight quite overpriced considering all activities outside of walking around cost quite a bit extra (for two people eg huskies 2h 300+, snowmobile 300+ etc)

Beautiful decoration & handmade art all over the resort. Delicious breakfast buffet and a la carte dinner. Amazing, lovely, helpful staff. The Aurora alarm was awesome and we got lucky twice :)

It would have been nice to have a place to hang things like coats in the room. I also wish the showers had been a bit closer (staying in a glass igloo, you have to walk a few minutes to the shared shower/sauna facility).

The meals were great. I didn't know what to expect but they definitely were better than I had expected. Breakfast was plentiful and dinner was very filling. The room was great as well - always warm and toasty, the bed was comfortable, nice view looking out at the property. I also thoroughly enjoyed the outings I organized with them - a reindeer safari, husky safari, and snowmobile sleigh. Although I had to walk a few minutes to the sauna, the facility was AMAZING. The staff was always friendly and helpful to me. I was pleasantly surprised by all of the wonderful aspects of this place. I would recommend!

Honestly, this place has some wear and tear, you can tell it is quite outdated now but is still very expensive for what it is. The igloo had a few leaks which was concerning. There were no hooks for us to hang up jackets and snow gear. When we went in for the first time there was a pool of water on the floor. There was a random wire sticking out and one of the light fittings was damaged. The bedding and curtains could do with a refresh. We requested a double bed but it was two singles pushed together and was quite uncomfortable (but you can make them go up and down like a hospital bed which was kind of cool). The small area inside the front door really needed a mat or carpet because it was freezing cold and always wet from the snow and we only had 2 small handtowels to use (the complementary slippers were quite thin and got wet straight away). It would be great if the igloos came with a shower because the main shared bathrooms and sauna were quite creepy inside (again, outdated) and difficult to find in the dark due to poor signage. The map we were given didn’t help. We were surprised the saunas were separated by gender, and the only private one couldnt be booked because they needed about 3 days notice? The dinner gave us mild food poising as both our stomachs were upset afterwards. Some champagne flutes in the room would have been perfect but we had to use paper cups. I got the impression the west village had better/newer igloos. We didnt see the aurora so we were unlucky in that respect.

We booked an igloo in the east village for one night to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and my partner proposed! For this reason this place will always be special to us. The view from the igloo (and also outside in the forest) is stunning. The glass is heated so even though it was snowing heavily it melted the snow so we could still appreciate the view. The walk from the east village to the main building was so magical at night with the lights and snow. Thankfully our igloo had a toilet. Half board was included (dinner and breakfast) and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

    - dinner portions were rather small, and since lunch offer wasn’t great and cost extra, I ended up being hungry in the evening quite often - in hindsight quite overpriced considering all activities outside of walking around cost quite a bit extra (for two people eg huskies 2h 300+, snowmobile 300+ etc) - hardly any locals, so not the most authentic of experiences, but staff was still very nice

    - beautiful decoration & handmade art all over resort - delicious breakfast buffet and a la cart dinner (surprisingly good after reading the other reviews) - amazing, lovely, helpful staff - aurora alarm was awesome and we got lucky twice <3 - Kelo igloo was comfortable and good privacy - Husky safari is a big recommendation, Planetarium was also worth seeing

Some staff were great whilst others weren't very helpful. There's no showers in the igloo and the shower block is quite far away. Getting between East & west is very annoying, we were left waiting for over an hour twice by the transfer. The sauna is also unnecessarily expensive.

Stay could be more comfortable. Igloos had very basic facilities and not worth the money you paid.

The igloos were in the midst of snow and it was amazing to watch Aurora from the nearby bridge. It was surreal experience. Their restaurant and the food served was amazing. Location of resort is like you are experiencing Narnia in real world.
