The hotel, staff and quality of rooms, restaurants and bars, as well as pool and gym area are very well organized. In particular there is a team for VIP Guest Relations, managed by a gentleman called Julen Arenas. He is an absolute legend. Also the security team, and more specific Mr. Ayup are providing a very secure and comfortable feeling, when staying in the hotel !

And yet... not quite what you generally expect from a house of this category. Hotel, you are so lovely, please let me give you a 10/10! But a bunch of little details left us irritated and unconvinced: in our (beautiful) room, the door to the toilet did not close properly, or at all, and a strip of the decorative lights behind the bed was missing altogether. Breakfast is... okay. We know you could do much better. The wi-fi stubbornly refused to work (this hasn't happened to me in ages) and only a call to reception fixed it with a change to a different network that hadn't been offered at check-in. Getting to the top-floor restaurant, where we had a dinner reservation, proved to be an irritating process involving two queues and a bunch of confused, disgruntled customers (some left altogether); up there, the view and the service were as they should, but drinks and food absolutely average, particularly compared with the rest of Barcelona. In conclusion - still very worth it, but don't expect your usual smooth luxury experience.

Top location - you are in the city and at the same time on holiday at the beach. Incredible views, the architecture of the house allows you to feel on a cruise ship from just about any room. Friendly personnel.

there was a lot of confusion at check in we were asked to pay for the rooms but booking .com had taken the full amount some days earlier, this made me feel very unsettled, i had to show my account details and that the money had been claimed by booking.com, once settled it was ok however our luggage was taken by the porters on entering the building they gave us a ticket, this ticket was given to the lady at the desk and we went to the room, we waiting for our case to arrive for 30 mins so we called the front desk and asked if we need to be in our room to receive the cases of which she replied yes we do. we waited a further 20 minutes with no cases. i impatiently went down to the front desk to enquire where our cases were to find the ticket wasn't issued back to the porters The stay was excellent just the getting into the hotel wasn't the best of experiences

The only persons who take things seriously professionally was the personal from the W lounge bar (Fabio is the most professional bartender eve and the barkeeper are very involved also,and we was in a lot of countries)so the rest is average (price-quality ist underestimated)

The location is a little "out of city". to go everywhere you need a taxi or a car. The restaurant at the 27th floor is a japanese restaurant and it is not specify when you are booking

We were at 21st floor and the view was breath taking. The breakfast is probabely one of the top three I have tried in my life. fabolous! the staff is precise and with immediate answers!

The staff hasn't replied to my messages on booking so I could not confirm some plans. It was my wife's birthday - typically you'd expect at least a card from the management. Nope, nothing. The staff is generally nice, but they seem to treat the guests like on the assembly line, even if you have silver or gold status.

I tried to use concierge in emergency at the date of check in after some 30-40 min after the check in, when my car lost one tire. I was on my nerve, I ask to help me find the garage to repair it. I was asked to say where I’m now. I said I don’t know but I may share the location on WhatsApp . I receive the answer that they have not WhatsApp . It was the long story, concierge refused to contact garage, but gave me the phone number. That’s to the garage their had WhatsApp and all what is necessary. After that situation, I tried to avoid the concierge.

35 minutes for Checkin…5 counters and only 2 to 3 staffs in duty in this time.( 3 pm ) Absolutely no go in this price segment. Toilet door didnt closed well, very easy to hear everything…I ask myself if the architect every used this bathroom with his partner in the room…glasdoor. To thin and no closing of the door possible. A gap in the door always remained open. No go in a 5 star hotel.

Fantastic view from the 24. floor. We booked a sky view room ( 15th floor and higher ). Very very comfty beds and nice couches at the window. Also the shower really really nice. Was a real experience. The light im the room. Free water, coffee and tea. Top.
