The staff here are really helpful and friendly. I used this place as a base before doing the Carros de Foc hike. I was able to leave a bag with them until I returned, and the parking outside the hotel was really handy. The breakfast is really good too! Would return. :)

We got a two twin bed room, but the beds where quite basic, somewhat uncomfortable as the mattresses were moving on the frame. Also, one night of the three we stayed they didn't have hot water, but the hosts tried to accommodate us as much as possible (extra blankets, etc).

Cozy environment, comfortable room, clean spaces, very good location close to the ski slopes, friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast.

Lovely hotel in a great location. The restaurant wasn't open when we were there but there were plenty of places to eat nearby. The large room had been recently refurbished to a high standard, complete with wet room. There was a good range of tasty food available at breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Everything exceeded expectations.

The room was huge with an additional couch. The shower was great with a separated toilet unit. They let us keep the car in the hotel car park for the day while we were hiking around.

Stayed at Hotel Roya for one night before and one night after our Carros de Foc trek and it was perfectly set up for us. Comfortable rooms, an excellent breakfast, ideal location, fast wifi, large parking lot where we could leave our car while hiking and they stored a couple bags for us while we were gone as well. We spent the first night in one of the standard rooms and it was perfectly fine but definitely older, with a smaller bathroom and not quite as comfortable beds. The second night we chose a superior room and it was really nice, modern and had a couch and great view. Both rooms were great. When it comes to deciding, the superior room was 50% more expensive and that is probably how much nicer it is.

We were a little surprised that there was no air conditioning in the room. When we arrived the inside of the room felt hot and even when opening all the windows, there wasn't very much air circulation.

Very good location. Hotel looks modern and nice inside. Rooms quite large and comfortable. The lady at the reception (the owner?) was very helpful. Breakfast was nice too, and the private parking lot across the street was very convenient.

I was in one of the 11 refurbished rooms so can't comment on the other 11 older ones. But the refurbished one (room 103) was amazing. Extremely clean, very tasteful contemporary decor, very comfortable bed and sofa, gorgeous bathroom. It really was perfect. One of the best hotel stays I have ever had, and good value at £103 British pounds. Very central to the village, 2-5 mins walk to bars and restaurants.

The hotel is renovated, our room was very big with a view to the mountains, the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the Espot Taxi station (to go to the park).

The room was pretty old fashioned and I think it needs some repair. Also it was very small. The bed was old and the bed linnen looked very used.

The personnel was very friendly. They gave us few good advices on the places to visit in the surroundings. The hotel location is good and the fact that it has a parking was also nice. The reception area looks very nice and cozy.
