UkraineAt your disposal will be a small room with a bed, a wardrobe and a chair, a shared bathroom, a living room and a kitchen. The room is quite cold and noisy, the door to the balcony is old and therefore has poor thermal and sound insulation. During the night you can wake up from loud screaming and laughter from the street. Apart from you, the host and his wife live in the apartment. My room did not have a door lock which looked unsafe for me and for this reason I did not want to stay there, but the host refused to return the money and only offered to return 50 percent. I was in a stressful situation because I didn't feel safe. I contacted Booking and the next day the host installed the lock, but my first vacation day and night were ruined.
The room has a very good location, I practically did not use transport because I could walk to many places. There are many grocery stores nearby. Apart from the door lock situation, the rest of the hosts were friendly and attentive.

GermanyThe "bed" was quite uncomfortable and take into consideration that it's quite central so sleeping can be a problem at night. Also, it was quite loud in the house, people talking on the phone at 1/2am and when waking up early in the morning opening the doors and closing them harsh, without taking care to make little noise as possible. The room is very small and includes a small warderobe to store clothes, but that's it.

United States of AmericaThe location was fantastic. It was close to everything. It was a little noisy at night but that's the price you pay for staying a minutes walk from La Ramblas. Metro station was also really close which made transport easy as well. I also loved having the small balcony. You are renting a room in someone's home so its small but that was not an issue for me. There is a lock on the door as well so I felt really secure. It really was a fabulous stay.
