This is located perfectly for Barceloneta beach, it’s about a 5 minute walk away. Great budget stay, it felt safe, 24hr reception, air con, cleaning. Breakfast at a local restaurant was basic but more than adequate. Reception staff were very friendly.

The room was not well clean. Supee bad breakfast. I prefer if i didn’t pay for it and go out and have some breakfast at some bar. The parking was expensive. The stuff was so mean

The breakfast. I mean seriously, it would be nice to have some egg based smth at least, but it's just piece of bread with cheese or ham (no veggies, no sauce), very basic coffee and juice. I think its the worst breakfast I've ever experienced, it costs nothing to make it a bit better. There also were all types of noises: street noise, noise from neighbour terribly snoring(yes, you can here it) , noise from smbd moving the furniture very loudly all the time, noise from the fridge, noise from the smoke detector (the battery was running out and because of it, it was making notification noise), i asked 3 times to change the battery, but during 4 days nobody did it.

It's a small convenient room, you basically have everything you need. Location is great. Would be also nice to have small balcony, so you can dry the cloth.

There was no kettle for making tea. There was also no bar of soap. Otherwise it's fine and reminds me of living in a dorm. :- )

A small park separates the hotel from the beach, which is amazing! It's also close to the city center. The reception staff were friendly. Barceloneta beach is nearby which is nice for swimming with a bit coarse sand compared to the beaches a bit further away :- ).

The pictures matching the room. Information that the basic room, which we apparently booked, does not have wifi.

the breakfast was at a resturaunt a bit away and you only got a sandwich and a drink and coffe, not much but ok. The room did not look like the picture but worked well since we were only staying ine night. The staff was really helpful and nice. Also there were a pretty girl staying there which was nice.

Don’t expect a luxury hotel at this price.

Simple student accommodation at an affordable price. The room was well equipped with air conditioning and a kitchenette.

The room was extremely small for two people, and it did not really look like the photos on the website.. The room without AC is impossible to sleep in during the night. There was a fan in the room but it was very dusty and dirty. The changed towels were dirty twice, but the cleaners and staff reacted very quickly when we asked for clean ones. Also I’m not sure the sheets were changed every three days as we were told they would be.

The whole complete staff was absolutely amazing. Every single staff member was extremely helpful and very nice, from front desk to cleaner every person was extremely cooperative and nice. They answered every question and made us feel welcome and safe. The location is fantastic for anyone who wants to explore Barcelona and stay outside for most of the day and evening. Very close to the beach and a lot of restaurants, 10 minute walk to the center. Wifi was great, breakfast was also unexpectedly nice since we didn’t expect much. It’s close by at a cafe and you can order a sandwich, pastry, fruit, coffee, tea or juice.

Normally the cleaning service has been fine at universitaria locations but due to covid It was on a lower level and I doubt if this is an appropriate argument. At least the supply of towels could be somewhat better.

Very well situated location close to Barceloneta beach and walking distance to the old center. Basic but most facilities included (ideal for single travellers) except that the suggestion of the booking.com pictures that the location has bikes available is not true. Staff /security was very helpful during the night when i was confronted with an incident. This has been highly appreciated

It is not as luxury, as you see on photos. It is clean though 🙂 Conditioner smells. No towel for kitchen. English-speaking people are available only during day time. But these are very minors. I was happy with the place.

Location is great. Wifi is goid but you"d better register or you will have to login every 24h.

Not all the rooms have an aircon, and it’s hell in the summer.. we had to upgrade for extra 100€. The cleaning was terrible. We were promised our room would be cleaned on Thursday, and it was only cleaned on Friday evening after 5/6 talks and requests on the reception… just exhausting

It’s a bit outdated , everything is quite old and small . Was no kettle in the room but cooker worked fine I could even make own lunch and dinner

The best feature is location . It’s 5 mins walk to a nice quiet part of the beach ; 5 mins to shops , restaurants , and barcelonetta station. 15 mins walk to centre of Barcelona and all attractions . Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful , speak good English

The AC hadn’t worked properly during my whole stay. Even when asked to fix it, nothing was really done about it. The pictures are not what you see in the actual room, it’s very plain and walls are dirty.
