The style of having the bathroom & toilet as part of the room with frosted glass around was not ideal. Another odd feature in the room is the placement of the tv. The rooms are not sound proof & we were disturbed a couple of times by very active guests in an adjoining room.

We chose the hotel as we were travelling with a car & needed parking & somewhere near a metro station so we had accessibility to the city. The room was spacious & the bedding & pillows were excellent.

The hotel is relatively far from main tourist attractions in the city but there is a metro station close by.

We booked the hotel for the last day of our honeymoon, the very considerate staff upgraded us to a superior room and there were rose petals on the bed. We were nicely surprised by the gym and sauna on the 17th floor with views to the city. Room service staff were welcoming and professional.

Nothing really. But there is nothing much in the local area. As a tourist you would need to use the Metro to get to places but we were just using it to catch up on sleep after a long flight & it was perfect for that.

Unfortunately, the shower in the sauna area was not working during the time of our stay. Otherwise nothing else to fault!

We had a very spacious and clean room with a great view from the 16th floor with a comfortable bed, AC, minibar and amenities. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice. The hotel is situated in a quiet area next to the metro and train station with frequent connections to the city centre and airport making it easy to get around by public transport. The small gym and sauna was a nice addition. Great experience and would happily return!

I stayed at Hotel Porta Fira 4* for five nights, from May 1st to May 6th. This hotel truly excels in every aspect. From the onset, the service was outstanding; staff were always attentive and eager to assist, ensuring a seamless experience throughout my stay. The cleanliness of the hotel deserves a special mention. Every area, from the lobby to the rooms, was immaculately maintained, which made for a very comfortable and inviting environment. The daily breakfast offered a great variety of fresh and delicious options, catering to all tastes and preferences. The room was well-appointed and modern. However, one small suggestion for improvement would be the addition of a few extra hooks or spaces in the shower area to hang clothes and towels. This minor adjustment would enhance the functionality of an otherwise perfect room. Overall, my experience at Hotel Porta Fira was nothing short of excellent. I would rate it a solid 10/10 for its services, cleanliness, and the quality of the breakfast provided. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

I didn't have the breakfast, however one of my colleagues commented that they didn't get a lot of choice for the price of the breakfast. The body wash in my room seemed like it had been there for a while too as there looked to be separation in the bottle.

The room was very clean and the view was amazing. I was on the 15th floor and was able to see right to the sea. The facilities in the room were clean and working. I also liked the ease of ordering items from the mini bar or on to the tab.
