Very expensive considering the room size. Also, very difficult to find. The sign is very small and not easily visible from the other side of the road. The host was impossible to find, and he gave me a really hard time to hand me the invoice, which I needed for my work.

it is a bit dirty. heating radiator, for example, seemed never cleaned. the room has literally nothing except bed, TV and clothes board. bathroom door lock was broken

It is a budget accomodation and being called "value for money" for a reason. We got what we expected. ;)

Great central location and value for money 100%. :) Perfect for those who do not wish to stay in a luxurius hotel but wants to keep it simple with the accomodation and prefer being busy by exploring the city. The staff is friendly and every room has a private bathroom but the rooms are not too modern and neither too big, that is all. But it was great value for money, instead of spending too much on a more "fancy" expensive hotel. We would happily go back to this hotel again, especially because it also offers a private garage for an extra but reasonable price (for those arriving with a car). This place was indeed very convenient for a short quick visit in a nice area of Bilbao. :)

I needed to stay overnight in Bilbao when travelling to France with my touring pedal cycle, in late May this year. For a stranger to the city, the location is a little difficult to find, from the autobus station, but the proprietor answered the door promptly when I found the small hotel (located in a pleasant side street, with useful café bars nearby. The proprietor spoke excellent English (always a help to someone who rarely travels to Spain, and never to the Basque country) and was very helpful in making my brief stay a pleasant and problem free one. I would unhesitatingly recommend this small pension/hotel. I was able to bring my bike inside overnight, although there was no way of locking it up - but that's an unusual requirement.

The room we had needs some attention, the walls need some fresh paint, a wall heater was liking, etc. And the windows don't isolate the noise outside very well.

Very good location, good price for the region - usually it's more expensive. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Bars and restaurants right next to the building. Close to city center, public transportation, shops, etc.

The level of cleanliness was not to the standard that I´ve come to expect in Spain. The bathroom had a bit of a moldy smell and did not seem very clean, but this could have been due to the fact that it is rather old and ´tired´. My room was on the upper floor and the room seemed to trap the cooking smells of the building - not necessarily a bad thing, but it did make the room a little ´stuffy´.

The location of this Pensión is excellent - walking distance to the Guggenheim, the old quarter and the major shopping strip. The room was spacious and quite comfortable. Access to the Pensión and the room was easy. The staff were, in general, friendly and attentive.

Not very good privacy as you could hear what was happening in the corridor. There were no blinds (just curtains) on the windows, letting the light pass through at early hours of the morning. Some parts of the walls were cracked.

Handy location. Very close to all transport options including metro and walkable to various areas of city if you don't mind walking a little while. Very clean. Great for short stay. Easy check in, check out, they held my bags for me on check out day so I could go to the Guggenheim and pick them up a bit later. Thank you :)

It's not Ritz it's pension in the city center. Staff is very kind and helpful, everything is close by, walking distance to all main attractions and important public transport stations. The noise doesn't last longer than 1am so for a city center it is pretty quiet. Safe part of the center.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable for my taste, but two nights were doable for me.

Great location, especially when you travel by train. Only a stone’s throw from Abando (Renfe) and Concordia (FEVE). Right in the middle of everything interesting in Bilbao. Don’t expect a luxurious hotel. But it’s great value for money if you are a modest tourist.
