Unfortunately breakfast not available as we were leaving too early. Also didn’t realise there were no tea/coffee making facilities available in the rooms so we asked if we could go to the breakfast room to get some hot water in the morning for a cuppa before we left (luckily we had our own bags & milk). They allowed us too which was kind but not brilliantly convenient, would have been better to have a kettle and crockery in the room. Also gym and hot tub closed, would have been nice to have a dip.

Great location as we had to get train at 7am, so couldn’t have been located closer : ) Person at the reception desk was helpful & friendly. Room was large enough, nice & clean, beds comfy, had a good night sleep.

The rooms with the industrial look and stark black and white color scheme must fit your taste. That is all part of being a former railway building. Sometimes there are buses stopping in front with their motor running.

Nice check-in, friendly, comfortable bed, super location not next, but actually in the train station. That means zero time between arriving and checking in and vice versa. Very generous, very generous breakfast.

Clean, very friendly and helpful staff and good location. We took train and hotel is right at stop. It is a walk up hill to town center. Very quiet even though at train station. Our room faced train tracks. Never disturbed. Heard one train horn in morning, but not that woke us up. Good breakfast with a good variety of items (need to pay for it). Breakfast is worth it, as otherwise, basically limited choices in town for breakfast. Such a cute town!

Some small details in the bathroom - toilet was not completely attached to the floor, and every time we used it it moved. The drawer where the hair dryer was didn't close properly. No major issue though.

Location, spa area is what I have valued the most. Breakfast was good, local products were very tasty, however, tortilla and small frankfurt sausages could be much better.

It's not in the town center which is up the hill so its a bit of a walk to the shops etc.

The room felt quite enclosed as there was only one small window and a sky-light in our room.

Friendly staff although they don't speak very much English, enough for us to get by - we only speak un pocito Español and unfortunately we cannot speak Catalan. Decor is nice. Comfy bed. Great shower. Cakes / snacks & tea available 24/7 in the lounge area. Despite being located IN the train station there is no noticeable noise from the trains as they are very quiet, and very infrequent. There are public elevators and a cable-car up into the old town but plenty of places on the lower street to eat or drink too. We were able to store our bicycles in a small storage room.

The air conditioning was set to auto winter mode which made our room a little too warm during the night but nothing else comes to mind.

Great value for money. Friendly staf, very clean and surprisingly quiet given the hotel is actually still the train station, wonderfully renovated to become this cute little hotel. We really liked it.

Newly refurbed, hotel is actually part of the railway station building. Funicular railway takes you half-way to the old town at the top of the hill. Lift should take you the rest of the way but this was out of action.

I had a single room and this was perfectly adequate. Two minor issues were: - the mixer tap for the shower was of the lever type, and I found myself frequently bumping into it and thus turning off the water; a thermostatic-control mixer of the type with swivel controls at each end would fix this; - some wall-mounted or free-standing shelves for storing clothes, etc. would help.

The room had one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in, and the room was spotless; breakfast was excellent and copious. As I was on my way to France by train, I had no difficulties getting to the station (down two floors from my room) and getting up into the historic centre of town for an evening meal was simple with the help of the free funicular railway. Puigcerda is a charming town with a sense of civic pride, and the Hotel Parada reflects this.
