Very helpful staff. The owner allowed us to use the kitchen to prepare our evening meals. He also provided a safe place to store our bikes. La Luna is in a good location in the hills above Granada. Stunning views of the mountains from our balcony. Very peaceful. Easy access to walks & cycle tracks in the Sierra de Huetor National Park. Highly recommended.

We came out of season (april), and we could not get breakfast, but it is understandable. Owners tell you where the good food is, and there is also a store in village.

Really nice personell. They give you kitchen to use, we have clean room, and great view on Granada. Owners also told us where to eat, go... On short notice we decide to stay another night, and it was no problem.

Nothing, wish we could have stayed longer!

Staff was super friendly, explained well what things to see in town and where to eat/drink. We've ordered food by delivery and had it in their large common space, there's also a fridge where each room can place their stuff. Beautiful landscape of Sierra Nevada and Granada, the room has a cute balcony. We went in winter time, otherwise we would have also taken advantage of their swimming pool!

It was our favorite of a long trip. No complaints.

We loved the location near hiking and with beautiful views. We also enjoyed the peace and tranquility. I even saw 4 ibex on my morning run! The breakfast was great and the staff was friendly. We were well taken care of.

I found the bed too soft and uncomfortable with only a sheet and bedspread for warmth although it was November. I was in a twin room so I used the bedspread from 2nd bed as well for extra warmth.

It was a steep climb to reach the property but well worth it. The property was full of traditional Spanish features with an attractive room and a balcony with a fantastic view of mountains, vineyards and a beautiful sunset. All was clean, the room was warm and the shower worked well. It is a beautiful building and the swimming pool also looked inviting for the warmer months.

That I only stayed two nights.

I loved my stay at La Luna del Sur and everything was perfect. Victor is a great and fun host and is really helpful in whatever issue you might have. He is doing absolutely everything he can for his guests. I also really enjoyed the view over Granada and the landscape and also the accommadation itself and the breakfast are highly recommended.

Nothing I didn’t like about the property.

The property was excellent. Not only do you have your room it also has a kitchen which you are free to use and a big area where you are able to eat etc. A great bonus!

We liked the place a lot. It is not too far from the city, yet far enough to relax and explore the surrounding area of the village without the city buzz. The place has a free on street parking, washing machine and kitchen that can be used by the guests. The staff was amazing and super helpful. We will return!

The only thing that was a bit poor was the breakfast.

Everything was super nice, from the check-in till the end, location 20 mins by car from Granada, good price for quality/value. Amazing swimming pool, comfortable bed and very spacious room. If you have a car the right place to stay and visit Granada.

Unfortunately the lift wasn’t in use because of COVID and with a pram on the second floor was a bit of a hassle. Also the baby crib was too big for the room and the mattress didn’t fit properly so we didn’t use it in the end. The pool was quite small so with a couple of kids always in it there was little room for adult bathing.

The location is beautiful, breakfast on the balcony especially. Very close and easy to get to Granada. The man in charge is very friendly and will help in anything he can. Very clean.

Other than the pool being too cold, everything else was great.

Nice view with a little terrace and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Had street parking in front. Staff was friendly. Pool looks fantastic but was a little cold.

The hotel is not the newest, so the rooms (in spite of description) were not that spacious. Driving to the center takes about half an hour, so you need to factor it in.

Amazing views, very quiet neighbourhood. The balcony gives gorgeous view on the area. Bathroom functioning very well, without any surprises (which we have learnt is not a given!). Super-nice hosts who gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants nearby and in the center.
