La Bionda is a hidden gem in the city center of Begur. This location was perfect in finding something to enjoy the history of Catalonia, with many shops and restaurants easily walkable. The hotel inspired after The Grand Budapest has small touches that make you feel like you’re at home - welcoming spaces to hang out beyond the luxurious room accommodations. Carla and the team made our stay so personable, that we extended our stay by another night.

The location was very central, just a few steps from the towns parking garage, where our wonderful host Carla met us to help with the luggage. Breakfast was delicious with freshly pressed orange juice and a "a la carte" menu. Everything was prepared and cooked fresh daily.

Everything was perfect! Nothing to complain about.

Our visit was extraordinary! We had a lovely stay that was elevated by the lovely staff at Bionda. We were so happy about our weekend away. The interior at the hotel is also so inspiring and unique! Really a one of a kind hotel. The town is also really beautiful and full of good restaurants and cute shops. We hope to be back soon!!

Our room (Maria) was a little on the small side for us and a tad dark. Very minor criticism and didn’t spoil our stay. Next time will book a larger room!

Fabulous little hotel, conveniently located in the centre of Begur. Extremely well run by lovely people. They couldn’t do enough for us, from help parking car, to restaurant reservations, etc.. Hotel is beautifully decked out. Very unique place. Definitely one for the discerning traveller!

An amazing boutique hotel , with the best inclusive breakfast we had all of our trip. Super niche, very welcoming staff , very well appointed rooms with a bespoke feel throughout. Can't recommend it highly enough.

I didn’t realize that there isn’t staff onsite 24/7 and would have liked to know this as a solo female traveler beforehand. However, I still felt very safe and had Carla’s phone number if I needed anything after hours.

The hotel was so charming, beautiful, and intimate. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and Carla and her staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make my stay as special as possible - from parking to making reservations, etc. The location of the hotel can’t be beat - it’s right in the center of Begur.

I can’t thing of a thing!!!! I wish we would have stayed longer!

The owner obviously thought of every detail in the renovation of this 17th century building. Our room was thoughtfully appointed and every detail was attended too from the robes and slippers, the hot water and tea, the beach towels, the wonderful functional air conditioning and the toiletries in the bathroom. Carla and staff have mastered the art of hospitality setting up our dinner reservations, providing directions and recommendations for activities and even parking our car! The breakfast included fresh pressed juices, freshly baked goods, amazing coffee, fresh fruit and eggs of your choice. This wonderful little gem in the middle of a quaint medieval town center exceeded our expectations as did the hospitality! We really had a tough time leaving and an even tougher time entering our new room in our next location.

The property was beautiful. Every room was uniquely designed and all of the common spaces were lovely. The staff were all so kind and helpful, especially Carla, who was so personable and checked in on us everyday. She offered excellent recommendation for Begur and the surrounding area. Breakfast was divine! A excellent a la carte selection each morning that we thoroughly enjoyed and looked forward to. Such a beautiful place, we can’t wait to come back.
