SpainThe air conditioner went out in the hotel for 5 days. When we asked for a fan for the room they said they didn't have any so we went out and bought one. There was a lack of communication from the staff about the situation and only on the night of day 4 did one staff member apologize for the inconvenience of no AC in Barcelona in June.
The hotel wasn't bad, located 1 block from the beach and 1 block from 2 big supermarkets. There was plenty of free parking along the street and the area was quiet and clean. The room was basic with a very simply desk. The shower had great water pressure. Breakfast was a simple buffet of bread, pastries, cheese, ham and eggs. The hotel is a 20 minute walk to the train that takes you into Barcelona and the train takes about 1 hour.

I do not know why this hotel is only rated as a 2 star, as it should be at least a 3 star. Very clean, good basic breakfast, good wi-fi, daily maid service, hot water at good pressure, close to beach and marina. Restaurants a walk away.

Reception staff were excellent. Room was good and nice touch of water, crisps and chocolate each day of our stay. Kettle and KRUPS coffee machine in the plus room. Secure parking and location was good. Also nice touch of free coffee and juice in reception.

CroatiaWhen we arrived, some parts of the room (mainly the bathroom) weren't well cleaned. We received only one towel and had to go fetch another one, and the toilet roll wasn't full so we had to ask for a replacement fairly quickly. There was no toilet brush in the bathroom.
The room was spacious, and the bed was comfy. The bathroom was nice and spacious too, especially the bathtub. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful, with a variety of options. If you refuse room cleaning to protect the environment, you can claim a free breakfast.

Great that this hotel could store our touring bicycles in a large secure luggage room; thank you. Room was spacious with a good view across the area nearby. Delicious OJ and coffee for guests in the lobby. You can walk down to the waterfront past the university, and along the coast a bit to find places to eat - about 1km distance, and if you want to go further you can walk out on a pier by the marina.

United States of AmericaRoom cleaning could be a little better. There were random hairs in the shower upon arrival & there were stains on the walls in the bedroom area. We stayed in room #418. A little extra attention to this room would be beneficial.
Basic hotel on the outskirts of Barcelona. Beds were comfortable. Easy access into the city. Complimentary coffee & juice was a nice perk. Mini frig in the room was also a nice perk.

There is for parking also a free possibility and we like that also. We visit your hotel because our children are living in the neighbourhood of your hotel. We like also the short distance to go to Mataró by feed.

A nice B&B for a short stay, clean and comfy. The breakfast was not the best, lots of flies (please just cover the food with a fly net) and the driest cucumbers I've ever seen. The staff was friendly and spoke good english.
