The staff was very friendly and supportive, it is very clean, never seem to be a queue at the toilet or shower, all necessary amenities available, multiple events every day including going out, but staff and volunteers keep the party people in line so there never is a problem with not being able to sleep for the rest. Free dinners is an amazing tradition and I hope you will keep it going. Thank you for everything!

If you want to rest early, you will need to use earplugs, because hostel visitors tend to socialize a lot and have a long party, which can be heard well outside the room door

I had to stay in this hostel for a very short time. Booked as a budget option for one night as I had a flight out of Barcelona that same night. Precisely because of this, I did not get to experience all the advantages of the hostel and communicate with its visitors. As far as I have seen and heard, this hostel is characterized by its unique, cozy, social and family environment, where everyone communicates, shares experiences, plays games, has dinner together or plays the guitar. I advise choosing this hostel not for random visitors, like I was, but for those who want to spend at least a few nights in a warm and friendly team.

There could've been more storage room for everybody for the personal belongings. But that's just a minor con.

I really enjoyed the location of the hostel and the social character. The stuff with its volunteers were super nice and helpful every time and the social activities and the family dinner in the evening made it very easy to connect to the people there. I enjoyed my stay a lot.

Music in the kitchen all day long —might be part of the social atmosphere, but not the best to work or relax. Individual lights in beds are very strong and are very visible throughout the dorm when switched on at night.

The staff really manages to fulfill the promise of a social hostel. Good wifi. Clean and available shared bathrooms.

The hostel is close to other bars, clubs on the street, and thus it's noisy at night when you want to sleep. The room is not quite big, making the room a bit crowded and thus the sound making by others would be louder.

It's good to have private space since they provide curtain and light for each bed space. They also have family dinner(tip based)at night and you can chat with ither travelers and play games if you want. In addition, they arrange night activities( bars and club) Small reminder: remember to bring your own towel, toiletries and lock, but they do provide hair dryer.

This hostel felt so homely and very social. I had an amazing stay here. I felt well looked after by all the staff. they had free family dinners (vegetarian) where you get to meet new people form your hostel. also had great day activities where you get the chance to meet more new people from the sister hostels. same with their nights out. I had so much fun and will definitely be coming back. shoutout to YIke, Yuru, Bel, Jessica, Pietro, Ollie and Véro. thank you guys for making my stay so memorable, it was lovely to meet you all and i hope to see some of you guys again in future!

Great hostel for solo travellers! The free dinners and daily events were great for meeting people and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Location is close to transport and easy 20-30 minute walk to the center.

The staff is very welcoming and the hostel has a cozy vibe as everything is happening on the same floor. It was also very easy to meet people and to make plans with fellow travelers as the hostel offers tours, group dinners and party plans. The beds were really nice as they had curtains, a personal light, a little table and an outlet to charge your phone.

Great place to stay in central Barcelona. Close walk to many places of interest as well as quick access to the metro and bus to the airport. Surrounded by numerous cafes and bars. Ollie and the rest of the hostel team help create a friendly and fun atmosphere each day. There is a free nightly dinner and always a group going out. Thanks very much for an awesome stay!

The shower pressure in the bathroom, and the shower could be a little renovated (at least the one I was in)

I have stayed in many hostels before and this one offers more than you ask for (a kitchen you can use, dinner, tea, coffee, milk, water, extra shower products if you dont have your own, city tours guided by the nicest people in the world, nighttime activites and all of these are free for you to benefit). It was also very safe because the building door had a password that only we know. The staff were warm, welcoming and very helpful throughout my stay. Someone was always at the reception to help us if we had a problem. Beds were very comfortable and hostel was very clean. The only negative thing i can say is that i will always be comparing other hostels with this one after my stay in here.

The best hostel experience ever. Absolute 10/10 Rooms and toilet are super clean. The hostel is small enough so you get to know everyone. The best part is the welcoming staffs and the activities organised by them. City tours, Christmas market, free dinner, night out every day. I made new friends and enjoy every moment here. Highly recommend!

I would feel more comfortable in a slightly bigger space in the bathroom but wasn't bad at all

I've been traveling pretty much this year and slept in many many hostels, but I can tell that Onefam Batlló is a one of a kind hostel with really kind staff, warm atmosphere, tasty family dinners (!!!) and a rich action program every day. Also I enjoyed the close environment pretty much, as it's not fully crowded with guests. Location is wonderful, most things you need, are around the corner.
