Sound isolation could be better (you can hear people on the corridor and water running in the next room) but with an ear plug it's fine.

Central location, good overall impression (although at the first sight the decoration looks outdated), it smelled clean. Good value for the price.

It's an old property, dated, but lovely. However - this also means that windows do not shut out noise. Doors from rooms to central corridor neither blocks noise from other residents/rooms. It's central; expect noise, bring earplugs if this bothers you

Very central, welcoming and accomodating staff. I had a room facing the internal light well, (215) so was not bothered by streetnoise. Comfy beds, very clean

If you sleep light, then the street noise or snoring of your neighbors can be disturbing.

Personnel. They are simply amazing. Trying to help you in all possible ways. Very hospitable and very friendly. Location. Very close to the city center Room is clean and warm. That's very important. All cafés are close enough. The price/value totally coincides.

Light sleepers may get disturbed by noise from other rooms. shutters were closed so had no natural light.

All perfect from start until the end. I liked it so much that I even extended my stay for few more days. Rooms are simple but immaculately clean. Very kind staff. And location is to die for - right in the centre of Madrid, few steps away from Gran Via, Sol and other important locations. Definitely will stay here again when I return to Madrid.

The noise from a club party on the Sat/ Sun morning.Not the hotels fault l know but l literally got no sleep the whole night,the music stopped at 8am.Having said that it's the price to pay for being so centre but be mindful if you want quiet.

Location of hotel was amazing,just off Gran Via and Sol a few minutes walk away. The hotel was spotless clean,even on my standards the whole place shining. The hotel staff were all helpful and efficient.I would definitely recommend.

Room 201 was dark .. no view..faced other building like 6 feet away. No fridge. Very dated.

Plaza front of hostal were under contruction and very noisy start 7.00 am. Earplugs recommended👍
