Everything was just perfect!

Fantastic area and hostal to spend a relaxing time. The views from the hotel are awesome, the restaurant nearby serves delicious food and wine. We loved the breakfast with the homemade jams, and cakes and coffee. The owner and the team are really helpful and lovely!

Actually we liked this, but just to be clear, there is only 1 mobile home it is not a sort of camping.

Fenced garden for the mobile home, ideal for our two small dogs. Superb service by Maria and her team. When arrived there were already some refreshing drinks. Very good breakfast. Swimmibg Pool also great with lot of dekchairs and the restaurant really nice!!!

Marie was the nicest host that we have ever met, welcoming, kind, thoughtful and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was in a wonderful location, great views and the room was perfect. We had the best meal we have ever eaten in Spain in the restaurant over the road which was so convenient. We will return

The owners and staff are all lovely, very open and friendly people and made me feel at home. They waited for me even though I arrived very late because of traffic and in the morning, María packed me a muffin and a bottle of water for the road. They were super nice to my dog Vera, and she loved the attention. I was also pleasantly surprised by the facilities as it is not uncommon for photos to be better than what you then find when you arrive, but in this case, it was the other way round, my expectations were most definitely exceeded. I will 100% stay here again whenever I'm in the area.

Excellent location up in the mountain but very close to the French border. The property was fresh and clean and the staff was extremely friendly. I stayed with a small dog and that was also no problem at the property which also is surrounded by good areas to walk the dog outside.

Outstanding hotel. Very comfortable room with super little touches, above and beyond excellent. Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Our evening meal in the restaurant opposite was exceptional. We will return many times.

We stayed at the Hostal Can Pau as part of a walking holiday in the nearby Garrotxa region. First impressions of the hotel are nothing special - an anonymous looking building on the main road just outside the village of Cantallops. However, we were pleasantly surprised by our experience. The hotel is modern and well appointed and the rooms are comfortable. What made our stay special was the friendliness of the staff, especially Maria, who made us feel very welcome and could not do enough to help. The breakfast was excellent and we also ate at the associated restaurant across the road, which was also very good. The hotel is about a ten minute walk from the centre of the village of Cantallops but this is not a problem. Highly recommended.

Nothing. Everything was amazing.

Maria was lovely and always very helpful and kind to us. The breakfast was amazing, all local produce, Their restaurant was superb, we had dinner there the night before. In the morning we had a lovely swim in their pool surrounded by mountains. The location is amazing and very convenient if you are driving on the AP7 into France. We had a very restful night.
