There is room for improvement when it comes to cleanliness of the facilities.

We stayed for one night in between international flight transfers. The hostel was at a convenient location with easy access to key Barcelona city attractions, being just 15 minutes to/from the airport by bus. The staff was friendly and helpful. Although the condition of the facilities was average. However, it was a better alternative to sleeping at the Barcelona airport over an 18-hour layover.

Accommodation was lacking some what but that was represented in the price! Whilst rooms looked clean they are in need of some redecoration. The bathroom specifically where the shower holder didn't hold the shower head and facilities were crammed in making showering difficult. Needless to say it didn't spoil our trip as we only required it to sleep and wash in. I would use it again but only with friends....not somewhere I would take my partner.

The bathroom was not very clean -- the bedroom floor was grimy and there was hair from the previous guests on the shower walls and floor. The air conditioner did not cool the air, rather it just blew air like a fan.

Location was great. The room was exactly what was advertised-- very simple with attached bathroom, nothing fancy. Bonus -- there was a small terrace, and we were able to use a refrigerator and microwave in the hallway. Beds had rather thin mattresses but were surprisingly comfortable.

Great value for money - you get what you pay for. I liked that we had a private room with a private bathroom, the aircon was great and cool for the warm days and evenings. We stayed there for 3 nights and were provided clean towels once which is reasonable!

The room had not window and was very tiny. The shared toilet is tiny too, there are not enough hangers and not even a cup to hold the toothbrush.

I had a very adequate private room and bathroom for an excellent price. Not much soundproofing but noises died down before midnight

Even though the room smelled like laundry, and the sheets and towels were fresh and clean, someone does not like to vacuum, and just brushes the dust under the bed. Likewise, the shower needed a very good scrub... I definitely recommend wearing shoes at all times, inclusively in the shower... The walls are paper thin, you can hear everyone, and the management does not answer the messages here or via email, I had to call them.

The location is extremely good, you are at the center of Barcelona, for a very low price!

not very clean, very small room, could hear every noise from the corridor. we looked for a place for couple of hours due to early morning flight and need to leave around 1:00 am, so it definitely served the cause ( 3 minutes from Catalonia square)

the receptionist was shouting on the phone for half the night until I came out and told him that it's impossible to sleep. And I usually can sleep pretty much anywhere. Very inconsiderate. There is also a small window in the room that lets in all the light from the corridor that is on all night and makes the room very bright
