To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Location, right in the city centre, very close to Plaza del Sol. Room was cleaned everyday. Nice and fresh with toiletries and towels. I liked the very big window and natural light in the room by day. Although the breakfast was not in the same location (we had to walk less than 100 metres), it was good with juice, fruit, charcuterie and toasts.

PolandUnfortunately, the walls seem to be made of cardboard. Every whisper is audible, let alone conversations of other guests. Additionally, poor window insulation allows street noise and partygoers to be heard. A downside is the limited number of sockets in the room; I only found one near one side of the bed and one in the bathroom. WiFi issues were also a drawback, not working in every part of the hotel.
The object is located in a very good location, right next to Sol metro station. Easy access to every part of the city. Superior rooms may not be the largest, but they comfortably accommodate. Cleaning is done daily. A plus is the fridge in the room and a comfortable bed. Despite the lack of heating in older buildings, the air conditioning heating worked flawlessly. The staff was friendly. Breakfasts are served in the restaurant.
