The Room we stayed in this time wasn’t very big but ok for what we needed , last time we stayed for longer and had a bigger room with a view

The hotel was lovely. We were disappointed that there was construction across the hall and on the floor but the staff gave us breakfast which was so fabulous! Location is amazing!

Beautiful clean room, huge shower, comfortable bed, wonderful area around the hotel. Everything is close by. Many restaurants around and only short walk to the beach.

The staff was really nice, the room was clean and very good looking. It was 10 min away from the beach and nearby the hotel is also a metro station (100m) so it was really easy and quick to also visit the city.

Hotel was in a very beautiful location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The best bit is we did not tell them we are here for a birthday trip but when we returned to our room they had left a bottle of champagne with a birthday note saying happy birthday. They got this information from the passport when we checked in that was a very nice touch. The hotel is in a very good location as everything is in walking distance and easy to get around

Maid service was just OK. We had to call several times as the maid did not replace our dirty towels and our complimentary expresso.

Location was good for access to Las Ramblas market and the Gothic Square. Front desk attendants were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel, however, we appreciated that pastry and cookies were placed in the lobby every evening so we had something to eat with our expresso when we awoke in the morning. We did sit down for breakfast one morning but were in a hurry and it seemed as though we had to wait too long before anyone attended to us so we simply left. Room was comfy and quiet.

The lighting was poor (wife's comment) and at times they failed (could not switch off at night) and the maintenance team had to come and reset. There was a also lack of space for storing clothes (Wife's comment)

The Hotel was modern and very comfortable with great access to all amenities. The location was also fabulous

Roof terrace being renovated when we were there, this was a big factor in us booking the hotel. We did eventually manage to get on the roof terrace but bar area was shut and the sound of the decking being "ripped out" meant you couldn't sit in peace. We were unlucky on that part. This being said I WOULD LOVE TO RETURN with the refurb completed.You get great panoramic views from the terrace. I enclose panorama.

The bar on the roof top was closed which we didn't know about before . There was work being done 8n the room opposite us and they left a mess outside the door and a dirty towel there to hide the ruble .We was woken up early on check out when the men started to work . That is unfortunate for us and I am sure will be fixed soon .

Only improvement was no staff on the roof on the day we left. Was fine though, as could call reception. Our twin beds were very close, due to bedside tables, could not move apart. This was fine though really.

Avoid room 1+2. I got told when I arrive that I got an upgrade. This was a lie. It’s located next to the 2 reception toilets and right beside reception. There is staff 24/7 so all night I heard them chat at reception, to guests, people coming for breakfast, people going to the public toilet at reception… avoid ..

The hotel is in a great location in walking distance to the beach, walking distance to gothic quarter and La Rambla. You won’t go wrong location wise. Staff is lovely, pool is very small but nice view of port.

This hotel is perfectly located by the old harbour and only a few hundred metres from the famous Rambla. There is a subway station (Barceloneta) and a bus stop close by. The hotel is comfortable and clean, its staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Transport: The Airport bus (Aerobus) takes you to Plaça de Catalunya in about 30 minutes. From Plaça de Catalunya, walk 300 metres to Plaça Urquinaona and take the subway line L4 direction La Pau. Barceloneta station is the 2nd stop. From there, you are a two-minute walk away from H10 Port Vell hotel. It's safe, easy and cheap.
