Everything was good.

Room size was very big with all the things I needed for an overnight stay. Bed was big and comfortable and I woke up to an amazing view of the mountains.

Big free car park so easy to park. Nice comfortable hotel. It met our needs as a stopping off hotel on the long drive from the Costa Blanca to Galicia. The hotel has a cafe and a restaurant so you can choose a simple cafe type continental breakfast or a breakfast in the restaurant I think the restaurant breakfast is 11 euros each.. We didn't have either as I had a travel kettle with me and some croissants.There is a nice walk through a park from the hotel to a big shopping complex with a Carrefour. It is about a 30 minute walk.We also visited The Valley of the Fallen.. This is well worth a visit.and was free after 3pm. I am not sure if that was because it was a Sunday.There were not many people there.

The room smelled bad, they didn’t ventilate from long. Very very bad smell. Also the pillow smelled really badly too.

It was very hot and I really just needed a sheet to cover me when sleeping, not a duvet in its cover. Even taking the duvet out of its cover and using it instead of a sheet didn’t really work because it was still too thick. Maybe have a sheet available from reception for anyone who would prefer it? The scrambled eggs I ordered for breakfast could have been cooked a little longer - they were too runny still for me - being elderly I am more wary about undercooked eggs, but this was a minor quibble. I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast! A very minor point - could there be a small closed bin for dog poo bags somewhere discreet in the car park? I didn’t want to put my dog bags in a smart stainless steel open bin with the weather so hot, so ended up taking them with me in the car and then finding a bin for them.

Breakfast good - wide selection of cold foods. Hot food available to order freshly cooked -a bonus instead of having food which has been sitting under lights for a while. Location is ideal for travelling with pet - suitable place to walk dog straight from hotel. Dog bed, feeding bowls and complimentary dog biscuits ready in the room was a nice touch and saved having to carry extra stuff from car to room. Plenty of car parking - had no difficulty finding a space even when arriving late. Access to A6 motorway is good - no need to go through town centre. Good shopping and entertainment in Villalba if you need it.

Had to ask at reception for a plug for the sink so I could shave.

Catering staff were very good and helpful. Location was good in so much of the closeness to the R6 motorway - great for overnight stop on trip between Almeria region and Santander Brittany Ferry port.

Aircon in my particular room couldn’t be adjusted so the room was a bit too warm for my comfort and I didn’t sleep as well as I would have liked. Access to room service menu was via scanning QR code - not ideal for those of us golden oldies who aren’t so technically savvy! Would have liked a normal menu as well. So I didn’t order in the end, which was a pity.

Welcome for pet - bed, bowls complimentary biscuits. Situation of room close to lift for dog walking. Misread instructions about pets, could have left dog in room whilst I ate in cafeteria after all! Both eating facilities looked good. Welcome by staff in English much appreciated after very long drive and traffic jams around Madrid itself

The extra €18 for our dog for one night which wasn't highlighted anywhere in the booking process. Room was okay but had a little wear and tear. Also missed the usual tea/coffee making facilities.

The eating of the room was low and missing some comodities, special in bathroom. Expected more for a four stars hotel.

The Wi-Fi coverage was a bit patchy but not everyone needs it. I needed it for work and it was the only downside. Everything else was great! There was a party in the nearby parking until 3 AM with the room windows facing the carpark. Would have been right thing for the staff hotel to ask the party goers to move somewhere away from the hotel parking.
