Beautiful location , with sea views of the island through the small valley. Our "two ladys" for breakfast and reception aka amazing local tour guide, ensured that we had a great start to the day, and a great plan for the day - we loved that we could hike to multiple beach coves, along forests cliff paths and beach promenades. All the villages in the vicinity are top class - beautiful authentic, friendly - great food and wine. We spent 4 days, a week would work even better

There are no negatives to this place.Maybe the parking, its a very steep ramp to reach the hotel by car so be mindful you have to be a very skilled driver

El Cel De Begur was an absolute gem!The room is spacious and presten, every detail is well thought The pool and jacuzzi again great addition, breakfast is absolutely delicious and the ladies who prepare and serve it are the sweetest most welcoming people you can find!

We had a room on the first floor near the reception and you can hear all the noise coming from reception and the kitchen when the breakfast time starts, would be great to have an extra door or something blocking the noise. Prices at the hotel bar are a bit on the high end.

(1) not safe to walk into Begur town on the road since there is no sidewalk (2) was not expecting to be charged €12/ night for parking. This should have been made clear on booking.com. (3) the room was advertised to have a safe to lock up valuables but there was none

The overhead shower, breakfast was great, the staff were friendly, the water view from the terrace, the feather pillows were so comfy.

Parking charge of 12€ per day to park on-site. Scarily steep driveway up to reach overnight parking area from lower entrance. Very limited parking at reception (down steep driveway) and no on-road parking possible. Ten minutes steep uphill walk on road with no sidewalk from hotel to nearest public parking (3€ per day) and bus-stop for beaches bus. 7 minutes further walking and less steep to the middle of Begur.

Stunning views down the valley from the lounge and pool deck. Very friendly and helpful staff. Spacious and comfortable room with A/C, kingsize bed. Lovely gardens. Great breakfast turned out to be included in the booked price (although not shown as such on Booking.com). Delicious bistro food available most lunchtimes and evenings, served on the pool level. Relaxed and intimate atmosphere due to limited numbers of guests. Lift for luggage from reception entrance to rooms and reception.

The fire alarm went off during the night (from 1am-2am) and there was no staff to turn it off. The clients of the hotel had to manage on their own: make sure there was no fire and find a way to turn the alarm off.

The view from the terrasse was beautiful. The decoration was charming and the breakfast was really good. The staff was very helpful and gave us good tips to visit the area and make the best of our 5 days.

Nothing - we felt the 3 star rating accurately captures the hotel offering but the cleanliness and comfort felt like 4-5 star.

Excellent value for a 3 star hotel - great location if you're fit and enjoy walking since you can walk both into town and to the beach. Alternatively you've got buses and car parks around too. Photos don't do this place justice - the view from the pool and having breakfast on the deck each morning with 'perfecto' coffee from Turia and the team was a highlight. The staff are very helpful with advice. We loved Begur and this hotel was great!

It’s about a 7 minute walk up an extremely steep road that doesn’t have a shoulder so cars pass you and at night it’s scary.

This place is so understated and the best view of Sa Riera beach.

On a steep hill with steep drive, steps to get to the main road. Able to park up the road a bit for free. However we felt the view & setting made up for this.

Beautiful boutique style hotel. Comfortable large room with private patio & stunning views. Lovely dining area & bar/ sitting area,& pool area. Music very relaxing & nice volume. Staff amazing everyone we dealt with was so helpful & friendly and gave us lots of information about the area. Lovely continental breakfast with cooked eggs & omelette on request.

Receptionist st check in told us very little. Didn't find out about pool towels until last day. Additional car park charge was expensive and an unpleasant surprise. Not much storage space in the room.

Location. Morning receptionist who was very helpful. She told us lots about the area. Nice breakfast. Large shower room with nice decor. Jacuzzi was fun and view from it was wonderful.

Parking a bit hairy and lots of steps between reception and bar area and rooms. Also difficult to get into town without driving. Taxis difficult so had to walk home in the dark on a road with no pavement

Lovely sea views from the restaurant terrace. Amazingly lovely staff (especially Touria) but all amazing. The best play list ever heard to go with the G and T’s by the pool

I was extremely dissappointed that we had to pay a 12 euro a day levy for car parking that was not displayed on the Booking.com site and I thought this was totally unreasonable albeit that car parking is at a premium in the area and should have been advertised.

It is a lovely boutique hotel and the room was comfortable and clean. The staff were lovely and spoke good English and could not be more helpful.

Tiny things... A kettle in the room to make tea we are early risers and were starving by 0830 for the utterly delicious breakfasts. The chairs on the balcony are not comfortable but you can go up to the two terraces by the pool instead for a very comfy afternoon by the pool. Nothing else . Wonderful place with divine staff .

The attention assistance and friendliness of Virginia and the wonderful caterer Turia and the other receptionist whose name I dont know, was absolutely perfect. We loved being cared for by them . The gardener keeps the dreamy gardens on steep hills in great shape full of beautiful flowers . It was a wonderful stay .
