Luis to the rescue! We were on the central path of the camino which was landed us 30 minutes drive away. Luis came to get us and we had our best night of the trip at his place-lovely dinner with other caminos, gracious hosts and beautiful place. Our favorite stay so far

Wifi was not operational in rooms. Need to get that fixed.

Beautiful, rustic and historic. Met some lovely guests in the dining room. Owner gave me a ride to the third stage Camino start the next morning.

I didn’t like that I had to leave —wish I could have stayed another day.

Can’t say enough about this accommodation—great location, facilities and food. The Hosts Luis and Xuia make my stay very memorable. A bit of the Spiritual Variant but Luis picked me up and brought me back the next day.

Nothing at all

Luis is an excellent host and takes care of everythinh I asked him for. Picked me up by car (and brought me back the morning after 😉), made an excellent diner for the guests and in the morning gave me some advise on an alternative but indeed most beautiful walk to Vilanova de Arousa. A very enjoyable place to relax. We were walking the Camino and only stayed one night but it would have been a good place to stay for a rest. Very peaceful.

The bedroom had a bit of a funky smell, maybe from humidity.

Beautiful country house with a lovely garden. Yet the best part was the warm welcoming from Luis, who took a lot of time to talk to us, give recommendations, preparing us a very nice dinner and breakfast. We felt at home. For a small price, Luis also offers pick up and drop off from the Armenteira monastery, very useful for pilgrims walking the Camino Portugues.

The host is so nice and accommodating. Made me feel at home. Came to pick me up so made it easy. The grounds are peaceful and beautiful. It was a serene break. The room was absolutely charming and bed so comfortable. Highly recommend. I was so grateful to stay here.

Everything was fantastic, including the location and especially breakfast. Staff was incredibly helpful, attentive and nice, and the place is awesome.

Room very small, old fashioned, with one night lamp on just one side of the bed. TV is flat screen but antiquated, not in good working order, with bad TV signal and few channels working. Internet speed is about half a mega and not adequate for browsing anything. Hydromassage shower refers to a wall unit in the shower cubicle with 3 options. Booking.com has grossly exaggerated the star rating and has made the place sound far better than it is. Has obviously not been verified properly. This place should be defined as a simple room with breakfast which would be fine but in that case the price point should be lower to reflect the reality and not disappoint by raising expectations through inaccurate descriptions.
