The Hotel is a bit isolated so there’s nowhere to walk to in the evening. I wish someone would have played the lovely piano in the bar!

We had a wonderful stay at Canyamel Park last week. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and the food is excellent! So much choice!! Out side pool is lovely and plenty of sun beds. We particularly liked the location right near to the beach. Would definitely recommend

Location was lovely, close to beach and all amenities. Plenty of sun beds and seating round the pool. Breakfast choices were first class. Catering to every taste❤️we chose the b&b option as we like to go out in the evenings. I loved the Spa treating myself to a massage and manicure, staff were all very friendly and helpful, loved my chat with Christine😊Thank you for a lovely stay.

Minutes walk from a great beach. Lifeguard on duty, nice shallow sandy shore, with 2 nice beach bars with good food. German influenced menus at most places in the resort, best we found was Bonanza!

You pay separately for drinks so the bills can mount up. But it’s a great hotel in a lovely location.

Wish there was Spanish music nights, it would make it feel more authentic and it would make it for a nice break from the English songs.

Beautiful hotel, great location and very friendly staff. We throughly enjoyed our time here, it’s located in a quiet town, perfect for relaxing, with a few good restaurants and shops around. The beach is just a minute away and the pool and spa were quite pleasant all day around. Breakfast it’s great, plenty of variety to choose from and dinner options change every evening. We highly recommend it if you want an hassle free and relaxing sunny break.

Our only issue was the location. It would be perfect for someone wanting to relax and enjoy a quiet holiday. However, there are only 1 or 2 small restaurants and shops nearby. We had to rent a car to travel to nearby towns for the evenings or trips to various beaches. The hotel were more than happy to arrange car hire also. Other than location, the hotel was great!

Property was clean, staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good and a wide variety. The pool facilities and spa were good also. The beach was only a stones throw away.

The food, although excellent, and plentiful was geared to German palates because I think we were possibly the only British people there. If you’re vegetarian or vegan, it was a little more challenging to find something different but there is always scrambled egg for breakfast.

Excellent staff - friendly and helpful. Quiet with comfortable beds. 100m from the sea Lovely pool and always enough sunbeds. No big competition to get one in the morning.! Lovely place and would stay again

I can't fault our stay here, everything was delightful.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a wide range of items to suit all tastes. The spa was great, and with the suite, we had access to a separate pool in addition to the main pool in case we wanted a smaller crowd. The location is very close to the beach and restaurants.

Hotel in general is great, but a bit outdated for 4* rating. Very quiet area with not much evening entertainment.

My husband struggled with the heat in the dining room in the evening but it was much better when they opened all the doors or when we had a table outside or came later. It was a long journey by bus from the airport but actually worth it to find a lovely peaceful civilised resort.

It was clean and comfortable. Plenty of places to sit around the pool. Air conditioning in most places inside hotel and in bedrooms. Indoor pool was refreshing and cool, especially good for the fairer skinned members of the family. The beach was literally a 2 minute walk away and the sea was safe and warm to swim in and there were shady places to sit. The breakfast and dinner had very good selections and we were saved some dinner on our first day even though we arrived at 1am due to a delayed flight.

Our room was very small, literally we cant use wardrobe because access was blocked by other furniture, same for safe. Air conditioning was older one and did not respond well. It felt like it has only one temperature and we can control only fan power. There is no active ventilation in bathroom, so my girlfriend sometimes had to suffer.

We liked location, its close to beach but hotel is well oriented, so wind from beach do not disturb you when near the pool. Breakfasts were very good, dinners aswell, but for someone who do not eat seafood or mushrooms it was sometimes very difficult. Also there are no signs that meal contains mushrooms (alergen). All staff was very kind and professional. Rooms are clean and well equipmed.

Would have liked a rubber mat in the bathroom as l have mobility issues and found it very difficult when exiting the shower. The pool loungers were too low for me too. Otherwise, staff were very obliging and helpful.
