We have stayed several times with Anna and have never been disappointed. The lounge and kitchen facilities are excellent and Anna is a warm and welcoming host. The property has a clean and contemporary style, with comfortable accommodation in a tranquil location.

Everything! Can Pares is a cozy little gem. It is a traditional masia with three guest rooms which modern are decorated with quality materials and a lot of taste. I love the fact that the room had a lot of light and a nice little terrace with view of the greenery around. Breakfast is awesome: local products with fresh taste and every day a different choice. The masia also has a brand new outdoor pool where you can take a dip to refresh and relax. Anna and her family are perfect hosts, they make you feel like home immediately. And the animals will also give you a very warm welcome. 🐕🐑🐈

Immaculate house in a stunning location. The host Anna was incredibly welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We travelled with two small children who loved every minute. A beautiful serene pool with easy access to some incredible sights such a as Banyoles and Girona. I could have stayed forever!

We had an incredible experience at Can Pares! The house was in a very hygienic state and provided authentic aesthetics where all attributes for daily use where present. Anna served us with an extensive breakfast every morning including all sorts of typical Catalunyan/Spanish delicates. With Girona being around the corner and Barcelona 1 hour away, Can Pares was a very convenient and calm place to stay, with a dog, kittens, sheep and donkey that where very kind and enjoyable to see. In conclusion an excellent house with a very kind host!

this is quiet place with large warm rooms, comfortable beds and equipped kitchen for preparing food for your dinner. despite the old house rooms are full of air and light. a terrace with a hill view is a perfect place for a slow rich breakfast, which is served by an owner of the place, kind, attentive and intelligent person. eco and vegan friendly. we had perfect night here. totally recommend!

Absolutely nothing, was super great.

Even though I was there very briefly, I could see how much effort Anna had put into the place. It was a really cosy and well finished place. Anna was so lovely and welcoming and was really accommodating with my slightly late arrival, and being vegan, as well as being able to charge my car from the house. Really really hope to stay here again and take a little more time.

Everything about it. Location is beautiful and peaceful and Anna was superb, very kind and thoughtful! There’s a safe space to keep your bikes and the animals at the property were very friendly too.

Everything about this place is perfect. Anna was very welcoming and friendly. The homemade breakfasts with different jams, cakes, breads etc was great! We made good friends with the dog, kittens, donkey, goat and sheep. The new swimming pool and sun loungers were perfect on a warm sunny day. The location is quiet and peaceful and we made use of the communal kitchen. We hope to be back one day.

Anna is your perfect hostess. She is friendly, knowledgeable about the area (she grew up there) and you can count on her. The room was comfortable and clean with a view on the garden and swimming pool. Breakfast included selfmade marmelades (different ones every day), toasted bread, 2-3 different cheeses every day, cakes, fresh juice, fresh fruits and every other day eggs from their own chickens. The swimming pool is clean and a great added value during the warmer days. We also loved the animals (dog, sheep, goats, chickens and kittens). The location is a plus: quiet area with parking and close to Girona.

I have had the best experience when travelling via Girona with my puppy. Anna is absolutely adorable and takes the best care of the guests passing her doorway. The rooms are modern, and spacious, with a dreamy walk-in shower and fluffy bedding. A fully equipped kitchen is also at the guests' disposal. The delicious breakfast spread is just the cherry on the pie whether served in the common dinning room or on the patio with a view on the surroundings (Anna accommodated for my gluten-free diet which is fairly rare in such places). thank you so much for this warm welcome! we highly recommend it and would love to come back!

We liked the house and the garden in a beautiful place surrounded by fields. The room is very comfortable and the house has dinning-room, living-room and kitchen with everything needed to make our own dishes. Anna is very nice and makes you feel at home.

Not the easiest to access restaurants and bars if that is what you want. Taxi needed. There isn't much in the local area, although it is an agri-tourism listing so probably to be expected.

Everything, pretty much. Ana, the host, was very accommodating and friendly. The building is beautiful, clean, and traditional with a modern twist. The setting is picturesque.
