We liked very much the philosophy of the eco-hotel. The location, the room, the breakfast, everything was perfect. We booked the carpark with the room which made things very easy and simple for us. Lourdes went out of her way to make our stay the most pleasant.

Hosts Lourdes and Alfred were wonderful, always helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. They completed renovations to open the hotel just over a year ago and did a fabulous job. The building is simple elegance. Our room was super comfortable. We had a rental car to visit the surrounding area and they provided convenient parking in a garage just down the street. They have a caldarium (small hot pool in a private room) which we reserved and thoroughly enjoyed. We only ate breakfast at the hotel twice in our week stay because we like to try everything when we travel. The breakfast Lourdes served was excellent. When we return to the Costa Brava, Can Mascort will be our home!

Fabulous hotel in a beautifully restored building in the heart of the town. The owners were so hospitable with great recommendations for restaurants, bike hire etc. Breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be back ! Lovely area for cycling with pretty villages and beautiful wee coves for swimming

I booked very late following a family death so hadn't read the details properly. It would have been nice to have a clearer walk around as I didn't know there was a roof terrace or upstairs lounge area. Breakfast was good but repetitive and expensive. The cost (around €1000 for four nights) suggests high end so it was disappointing that we weren't offered fresh towels (had to request them on day 4) and that sheets were never changed - I'm sure this is linked to the eco-values but not really acceptable during a heatwave. Bathroom was very small. The only mirror was the one above the sink.

Beautiful building, great location in walking distance to bars, restaurants, shops etc, friendly staff and some really nice touches around the communal areas. Has the potential to be really special
