Kids entertainment started too late for our liking. Queues especially for breakfast were so bad we actually ended up eating out for breakfast all week. Snack bar not great, a hamburger we ordered for my daughter was completely raw in the middle. Thankfully we broke it in half and realised before giving it to her. Entertainment could be a bit longer, only really on for an hour and a half after kids disco. A few staff members were very rude but most were lovely. The rooms are a bit of a squeeze and balconies small. We struggled a bit for room despite there only being 2 adults and 1 child.

The property was beautifully modern. The pool area could use a little updating. Most of the staff were friendly, the food was beautiful and the drinks were good. Maids were very friendly and did a super job. Entertainment was okay.

The hotel buildings are illuminated in the night. It looks wonderful but quite until the moment you realize that the light comes from the lamps on the balconies... So every balcony has this eternal lamp shining through the night. Every room has good blackout curtains but the light still creeps into small spaces on the sides and in the bottom. I could sleep all right but didn't like the whole thing with the lamps

This is a big hotel with a lot of visitants. There is a swimming pool (or even 2). There are several buildings where you may live. So it feels like a hotel-megapolis However, I found Medplaya quite comfortable. The rooms are cozy and clean. The noise from the beach does not reach you thanks to soundproof windows. The breakfast is a feast! They serve it in "waves": when checking in you choose the time you're going to come in the morning. So there is no crowd. And the food is plentiful.

Didn't like the music that plays on the stage outside all day and into the night. There was also a few marks on the wall of the room. The room could probably do with a repaint.

I liked the pool area and the wide selection of breakfast. It was also very good value in a great location. Overall I would go back.

We went on the first May bank holiday, it appeared there wasn't enough staff on bars or restaurants. They wouldn't allow me to extend room at checkout. I was, however, able to book a further night through booking.com

Location wasn’t the best and entertainment was orientated towards the retired locals that frequent the hotel. We upgraded to premium all inclusive but even then some drinks had a significant cost (e.g. JD and coke). Air con didn’t work in the room and we melted at night.

Modern and clean with comfortable beds and very attentive staff. Food was varied, good quality, well presented and adequate. Premium all inclusive allowed us to jump the long queues for dinner !

Was disappointed that all the pools were out of use. We had grandchildren with us and they had been excited about all the pools. Also the games room wasn’t open during the day-which would have been a compensation for the pools closed.

No snacks at the bars at all. Some chips or peanuts always nice with some drinks. No need for all inclusive. Lift out of order for so many people and been in 5th floor with 2 kids... Beds and pillow very uncomfortable

Pool not cleaned properly, algae underneath the top lip. Water murky, indicating filtration was not good. Worst pool we've ever encountered on holiday. Such a pity as it's a lovely hotel.

Load music blasting around the pool area. Couldn't extend check out . Told there were courtesy rooms available but there wasn't. Booking said we got the safe included but they made us pay.

Balcony furniture was a tad outdated but was fine.

Rooms were spacious, beds were so comfy!!!swimming pool area was lovely and clean. Food was basic, plenty on offer, never went hungry. Entertainment was good fun at night, myself and my friend attended the entertainment most nights. The staff were overall lovely and helpful. I would come back in a heartbeat.

We stayed in July / August 2023 and booked a superior family room for two adults and two children aged 11 and 9. The size of the room was fine and the beds were comfortable and cleaned daily. Fresh towels were provided daily if required and after 5 days we stripped all beds and new sheets and duvet/ pillow covers were provided. Storage space for clothing was a little bit lacking. We made do and it wasn't a deal breaker but a little more was needed really. Our bathroom was massive, huge bath with a shower over it, as well as a wet room style separate shower. Dove shower gels and shampoos were provided which smelt nice. Our room was on the third floor of the main building and faced the road with a pine forest behind it. Wasn't a particularly nice view but we weren't expecting herds of wildebeest dancing majestically over the serengeti. It got the sunshine in the morning but not the afternoon. The alternative view would have been a balcony overlooking the pool. The advantage of this would have been lovely sunshine in the afternoon, the downside would have been the loud music / entertainment all day and evening - your subjective choice. As a meat eater I was happy with the selection of food, plenty of meat / fish / cheese / salads / breads. If you've stayed all inclusive before then the deserts were typical little cakes, custards etc but self service ice cream machines were popular with my girls! My wife, however, who doesn't eat meat or fish struggled and this is one area where the hotel could easily improve. Each lunch and evening meal there are easily 8 meat or fish dishes but rarely vegetarian, so it would be so simple just to make a couple of dishes vege. They would make some nice salads but then add meat or tuna when it was not necessary. So improvements needed food wise for veggies. The pool? Well it depends on what type of person and what type of holiday you are after.
