The property is in a very busy area. This is a pro, but can be a con for some. It didn’t bother us and we were able to sleep without issue. If you are a lighter sleeper or sensitive to noise, bring a white noise maker or ear plugs.

Perfect location in Barcelona, very close to metro and in a busy area with lots of shops, restaurants, and grocery stores nearby. The vibe of the neighborhood was awesome, never had any concerns about safety. The apartment was cozy, kitchen well equipped, and beds were comfortable.

I cannot fault the accommodation.

I cannot begin to explain how accommodating and accessible the staff were from the moment I started communicating with the management. The unit was fabulously stocked with all amenities. There was ample room for 3 adults to move freely. The accommodation was perfectly situated within the Gothic area of Barcelona, with the port just a short stroll away and being surrounded by fabulous restaurants, speciality shops and bars. I would highly recommend getting lost in the Labyrinth that are the alleyways of the Gothic area. We are planning on returning and BCNGotic will be our accommodation of choice.

The communication with the staff wasn’t great, we were left waiting to get in on our arrival day even though we had advised our arrival time and they said someone would be there. And on our departure day, the cleaners came in before check out time and moved all of our bags/possessions and started to clean around it whilst we were out for breakfast.

Very, very minor point but the greeting on arrival felt a tiny bit rushed with the result we had to ask a few follow-up questions about how to operate the air-con etc. But any questions we did have were always very speedily answered so not a major issue.

Fabulous location. Clean, spacious and well equipped apartment. Can’t think of a better base from which to explore central Barcelona.

A lovely spacious apartment in an excellent location in the Gothic Quarter. The apartment has everything you need - well equipped kitchen, washing machine, large bedrooms, nice living area. Metro stop is only 2 minutes away giving you access to all the sights. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Other than the elevated outdoor line, there was no way to dry washed clothes A portable clothes rack would have been very helpful.

Slight confusion over payment. The front door was slightly hard to use when first used to get it, you have to pull and twist.

I would prefer a double bed instead of 2 twins in the main bedroom. Also, the twin beds are a bit small. Some guests may find the apartment a bit noisy at night since it's located right at a pedestrian "highway". The price is a bit too high, but isn't any price a bit too high these days? :)

The host was very friendly. She waited for us to handle the keys to the apartment and checked us in. The apartment was beautiful, very clean and fully equiped. The location of the apartment is exceptional. 15-20 minutes of walking to nearly every attraction in the city (except Park Guell). The WiFi connection was quite good, did not encounter major issues with anything.

the shower drain was clogged which limited us to a five minute shower so it would not overflow into bathroom master should have double or queen bed not twins
