Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Hong KongThe wall is too yellow. Also, there is a quite terrible picture on the wall that a man always stares on you. It made us feel not comfortable. There is a elevator but there are still few steps that we need to take our heavy luggage upstair. Besides, 500 Euro deposit is a bit expensive.
Spacious and clean with balcony. Can use washing machine and hanger. Good location with 5 mins walk to Diagonal or Provença Station. Quite silence and have a good sleep. The owner is responsive to enquiries.

Great location and a really nice apartment. Balcony with afternoon sun. Nicely furnished, kitchen well aquipped. Staff where helpful and gave good information regarding keys etc. Very charming old building, a lot of very nice restaurants just around the corner. Also close to several metro-lines and airport train-station

United StatesIt was nearly midnight before we arrived. The directions for how to pick up our key were not very clear to me. We stayed at 101 whose door looks similar to 103. The keys were on the inside of the 103 door – that is, on a DIFFERENT door than where we were staying. That was not clear to me, nor was the role of the website (slide the key and check).

United KingdomInitially we were a little concerned about the stairs as we were on the 3rd floor but in fairness, the lift was fine and always readily available. Most of the group were grateful for the stairs to walk off some of the food and drink!
What a find! Right from the initial booking, the communication was excellent, nothing was too much trouble for them. We arrived very early and they arranged for us to leave the cases in reception. The receptionist (Saudi) was really helpful and made sure that we had everything that we needed. When we got back to the apartment we were blown away, it was far better than we had anticipated. Everywhere was spotless, the bedrooms rooms were large and well equipped with really comfortable beds. The bathrooms were big with walk-in showers, the dinning room and lounge were very well set out and had plenty of seating. The location was ideal with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops right on our doorstep. Everything was just perfect (Thank you). This is a real Gem, don't miss out.

We were in the "Island" apartment which was stunning — enormous unit with lots of extra space, including a large balcony overlooking a quiet courtyard. Two full bathrooms and laundry facilities were a blessing when travelling with family.
