Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomApartment could have done with air conditioning as it was very hot when we stayed. The building development has a number of apartments as shown in the description. It was not clear which bit you were staying in.
Compact, clean and central, for La Geltrú. Host was very friendly. Apartment had all we needed for our short stay in Vilanova. It is an ideal location for exploring the old town. The town was very lively in the evening as it was the local fiesta. Really enjoyed this.

The apartment was spacious, clean and beautiful. Only downfall was the wifi. The host was excellent! Supportive and obsolutely helpful beyond measure, given that we hardly knew our way around. He also let us check out 2 hrs later which was so apprecciated. His communication was effective and he was attenttivd. I was very happy I stayed there.

United KingdomThe road the apartment is on is a narrow old street- absolutely beautiful but when the weather is hot you need the doors/window open to keep the room cool. It does mean you can hear every person returning from a night out, every car, every motorbike. It’s just the way it is in these old streets so good to be aware of in advance. We were there in a Friday and Saturday night which might have had an effect. The noise can be annoying, but we’d still stay there again because the location is so perfect.
The location was perfect, just a couple of streets behind the church. Loved the simplicity of the apartment, nothing fancy but it had everything we needed and that’s how we wanted it. The host responded to messages to arrange to hand over the keys and was there waiting for us when we arrived. All in all a great stay.
