Breakfast started too late at 8:30. We were out all 3 mornings well before that. It would be great if they could start it by 7 or 7:30.

The location was amazing. It's a 15 minute to the Segrada Familia and 5 minutes to La Pedrera. It is off of a busy street, but we were not kept awake at all. The room we had was large and had everything we needed. We would stay here again.

The only thing I would say that could be improved are the pillows, but this is a personal preference.

We have stayed here multiple times and always have a warm welcome. The staff are extremely helpful and really make us feel at home. The location is great for getting around the city with some lovely bars and restaurants close by.

The sound system is terrible. Since the doors and windows are wooden, all the sounds from the hallway or outside are inside the room. Employees often talk loudly on the phone and among themselves, which bothered us.

Property is really clean. Good location. Breakfast is not bad. The staffs are friendly.

Our room didn't have proper windows, so we weren't really aware of the day time and we had to stay with the lights on all the time. Also, sometimes it was a bit noisy.

The location is great, we were able to walk everywhere. Also, everything was clean and the hosts were very polite and welcoming. We were able to leave our bags before the check in. Also, we had breakfast,which was good, but you don't have much options to choose from. All in all, this is good value for the money spent.

The walls are quite thin, so it could potentially be a bit noisy, but they provide you with complimentary earplugs, so it did not bother me.

Clean, simple decorated room, with a small balcony overlooking Diagonal and Casa de les Punxes. Excellent location in the Eixample neighbourhood, in walking distance of the Sagrada Familia, Gracia, metro stops, shops, cinemas and restaurants. Friendly staff.

Just above a bar/resturant and you could hear the customers at the bar from the room. Some night were quite loud from that crowd.

Close to metro station, easy to use as a base for visiting many places in Barcelona. Rooms were nice for the price.

It's worth noting that the "guesthouse" was converted from an apartment, and our room was directly across from the kitchen. After the fatigue of traveling and an early wake-up, we hoped to rest, but it was impossible. The doors and windows were outdated and NOT soundproof, practically EVERY external noise penetrated. As we laid our heads on the bed, they started cooking, baking, and blending with great vigor in the kitchen. They chatted, laughed, and lived their lives. While there's nothing wrong with that, as a guest, that's not what I paid for... At the same time, street noise (cars, roadworks, etc.) constantly seeped in, along with the conversations of the café patrons below us. So, sleeping and resting was possible roughly between midnight and 6 am... We went to explore the city, so we weren't in the room during the day, but in the evening, it was particularly annoying that the party in the café below went on for a long time. The included breakfast in the price is quite average (coffee, tea, toast, cold cuts, eggs, butter, tomato). It's fine for 1-2 days, but for a longer stay (e.g., 10-12 days), it can become monotonous.

In November, we arrived in Barcelona for four days. It was extremely sympathetic and especially useful that our host provided a short description before our trip on how to reach them most efficiently from the airport. It was our first time in the city, so their assistance was greatly appreciated. We checked in early afternoon and were given a small but comfortable room facing the street. After taking possession of the room, we smiled at the fact that the owner had also provided earplugs (!) along with the towels... Then we had to realize that the hosts weren't joking. :) Nevertheless, the accommodation is in an excellent location. In terms of public transportation, it's ideal, with the metro about a 5-minute walk away, and several buses stopping right in front of the building. The appearance, cleanliness, and amenities of the room are all perfectly fine. The bathroom is small, but it serves its purpose. We interacted with one lady from the staff. Her mood was a bit fluctuating, sometimes a bit grumpy, other times incredibly kind. It was challenging to understand her. She spoke only a little English, making communication occasionally difficult. Overall, however, we managed to deal with everything with her and the others. On the day of departure, our flight was late in the evening, but we could leave our luggage at the accommodation for a few hours. The owners were flexible. Looking at the overall picture, I would recommend the accommodation for a short city tour, but the noise could be an issue for others. However, this could be addressed by upgrading the windows and doors to something more modern. Otherwise, Barcelona is beautiful, and the city's beauty and the fantastically nice weather more than made up for these minor issues!
