Such a lovely, peaceful place to relax after completing a Camino. The owners are delightful, and so helpful. The garden and setting are peaceful after the hectic bustle of Santiago de Compostela. It’s really easy and cheap to get a bus to town and back. The room was in the oldest part of the house and had beautiful exposed beams. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner at A Casa also. The whole experience was very nourishing.

It is an amazing place to stay! Very clean, amazing stuff and not too far from the centre of Santiago. We had our car with us and the hotel helped us to find cheap parking in the centre while we visited Santiago. I would definitely go back and stay there again!

Everything was perfect.

This place is so beautiful, quiet and peaceful. The nature is amazing, the history of the place is impressive. It is extremely cozy inside and the staff were very nice people. Our room was spacious and comfy. The view from the window is fantastic. The common areas in the hotel are just incredibly beautiful, it is a building from the 17th century after all. You can feel the history, it is a wonderful place.

I liked everything!

The breakfast was amazing, the atmosphere is magical - you feel the history there. The personnel is very welcoming - showed me around, told me how to get to the city center, were very polite and made sure that I felt comfortable there.

There really isn’t anything to not like.

A very beautiful property with so much history and charm. The family staff were EXCELLENT, helping us out with whatever we needed. Sophie made herself available with any questions anytime. The home decor was impeccable. The property was very clean. The beds were comfortable for a good nights sleep after being on the Camino. Breakfast in the mornings were in a beautiful dining area with a great assortment of food and drink. The property is located towards the outskirts of the city of Santiago which is nice as it’s so much quieter and peaceful then being in the city. The property has a city bus stop at the end of the drive that can pick you up and return you from downtown Santiago for One Euro each way, and the bud runs regularly all day. Without doubt we will stay here again when we return to do another Camino in the future.

Unfortunately, there was quite a bad, lingering smell to the room I was assigned. The staff said it may have been due to the previous insect treatment of a huge beam in the ceiling. I’m afraid it really affected my enjoyment of the room.

The breakfast was generous and a beautiful reflection of the local cuisine. The setting of the lodging was exceptional with views from miles.
