The hotel seems to be entirely staffed by 20-year olds who, while friendly, don't seem to know much about the city or touristic options. We stayed in two different rooms - the exterior rooms have beautiful views out onto the plaza, but the interior rooms don't even have a window that opens, which is annoying in a city where the weather is always good enough to leave a window open (and also very hot during the day). We also didn't have a stable internet connection in the interior room. Also, you have to climb around 60 stairs to get to the rooms - it wasn't a problem for us, but for older/disabled travelers, this could be an issue, as there's no elevator.

It's in a beautiful old building right off the main plaza in town - you can't ask for a better location to explore the old town. There's also a comfortable open-air common area to sit in and relax

Have to be able to climb a lot of stairs. Smoky from restaurant below or the street? Check in was laborious but sorted out, which is at restaurant desk, which is odd. Although everyone was nice, it feels strange.

Fantastic location.Beautiful old colonial building right on the main square. Little kitchenette with restaurant downstairs.Lovely little balcony and beautiful communalcovered patio with tables and chairs .Very reasonable price.

What we found less good was the fact that there is no mirror in the room. We would rather have a mirror in the room than the kitchenette facilities which you end up not using at all if you’re exploring the city. Also it’s very noisy, you can hear cars passing by, music playing in the neighbourhood etc and unless you have earplugs you won’t be able to sleep.

Everyone was attentive and kind, the location of the hotel is great ! The view from the room was stunning and the room was very spacious.

It is on the corner of the street, and on one of the nights there was a traffic sign that had an alarm go off and it took a while for the sound to stop, so if you don’t like the sound of traffic just be aware if you are staying in the corner balcony view room.

Very spacious and right in front of Plaza Calderon. The street where the entrance is at was always lit up and the doors were locked at night so it felt very secure as a staff member would always come and open the door for you, regardless of the time of night. Loved the balcony views and not to mention the very large bed.

Very very poor ventilation, the windows cannot be opened, but also it’s enclosed with 2 restaurants downstairs, so it gets very smoke / kitchen smells from the patio and even in your rooms. The “kitchen” is not really functional.

Great location, and very well decorated and comfortable rooms with modern toilet.

Such a great building, and the room was large, comfortable and had a great view. Staff were also super helpful, and it's in a perfect location. I would 100% recommend.

If you are sensitive to noice, light while sleeping, this may not be the place for you. Luckily I travel with an eye mask and ear plugs for sleep.

It was so simple to wake up in the morning and have breakfast ready and made downstairs in the little cafe. The breakfast was also delicious and filled my belly until lunch. Then to just walk right out front and already be in the town square, such a glorious stay at Del Parque.

They can't help it, but downtown is noisy. Anywhere in that area would be noisy. No elevator, 4 flights of stairs but understandable due to age of building - host carried luggage up.

Breakfast was amazing, fresh, and large, staff cheerful and helpful, stunningly beautiful colonial building, great views, fab common area with views, great balcony, great restaurant downstairs, amazing cross breezes through French doors in rooms. Bottled water and drinks downstairs to purchase. Staff spoke some.English, and were very willing to help with language barrier.
