Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

JapanThe guest has to log-in to wifi every morning, and this was a bit troublesome. There is no AC in the room, so difficult to sleep during the heat wave. However, you can borrow an electronic fan at the reception.
The room was spacious, and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast also provides nice choices. The location is two-station away from the main station, but the hotel is close to S-bahn, U-bahn, and bus stations, so it was very easy to circulate in the city.

Reception is welcoming and very polite: I received my room earlier and the necessary changes in my reservation were done on a very fast and welcoming way. The breakfast is simple standard, but very fresh and tasty. I booked the single room and it was small and narrow, with a single bed, which in general wasn't a problem for me. Though in case you expect big room or / and big bed - you probably need to clarify the possibilities with the hotel.

GermanyNothing in particular, the room was a little bit small. But nevertheless everything I needed was available in the room. There were no place for smoking, but I already knew that before booking so I didn't mind it.
The location was great. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast also was good. Also I was given free internet access for the whole time I was there, but it was just a day. I would recommend it for people traveling to Frankfurt with purpose.
