To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Location was perfect. When we came from the airport by train the station was nearly in front of the hotel. The hotel was very close to the touristic spots. We could walk everywhere with our 6 years old child. Staff were very nice. Room was clean but we wish the carpet was cleaner. Beds were very comfortable. If I go back I would definitely stay there again.

PolandThere are some people on the street you have to walk to the hotel from the main train station and then follow further to the city center (app 300m) who beg for money and show their disability to public what may make sensitive guests anxious.
Very nice and helpful staff. Very comfortable beds. Clean linen and towels. Clean bathroom. Very nice, tasty breakfasts. Good size of the room. Very close to the main train station and to the city center (within a walking distance).

United KingdomTrams can be quite noisy at night. There isn't any parking so you have to use public car parks. I chose one near the main shopping area (Conti Park Stacchus) which is pricey but seems to be easier to access. It's about 10 mins from the hotel.
Nice room overlooking a main road with trams, close to centre and right over a main U & S Bahn station. You can have a free beer or bottle of water for each day you skip the room cleaning service. Aircon was good!

Nothing to complain about the rooms: bed was fine, room clean, effective airco, modern (only bathroom bit outdated). Great receptionist who was very helpful (called when rooms were ready before check in time, and managed to arrange a taxi when 80.000 other people where also trying to get to the location of Adele concerts). Thanks for a pleasant stay!

GermanyThe bathroom was a little unpractical. The shower was really weird and let all the water out. The sliding door was also set weird and we couldn’t really close the door for some privacy because there was a huge gap between the door and the wall.
The hotel was very clean and the staff was amazing! The receptionist at the front desk was unbelievably nice and was able to get us a early check-in so we could study in the room before going to see Adele. He made the trip so much easier and comfortable.

IrelandOne of the front desk staff wasn't particularly helpful and even a bit rude/short when asking standard questions. You can hear the tram and traffic in the morning passing by on the street outside. The street is a bit rough too. Didn't take breakfast for an additional €16p.p. Sliding door on the bathroom didn't fully close by the design/fitting.
The room was modern, fresh and very clean. It's less than 5 minute walk to the main hauptbahnhauf which is the reason we booked. Bed linen was extremely soft and fresh.
