We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

AustraliaThe internet connection was terrible. Patchy and very slow at times. Reception contacted IT to address every day. Had to use the lobby internet at times. Lack of options for charging phones etc in the room.The room only had two electric points ...at floor level. No connection for shaver in the bathroom. Despite having a nice desk .. there was no charging point for a laptop.
Great location. Close to both sbahn ie 9 mins walk and ubahn ie 5 mins walk, as well as a bus stop just outside the hotel. Therefore , easy and quick to get to most sightseeing areas. Also easy to get to the airport via a direct sbahn train every 20 mins from the same stop. Supermarket and number of restaurants nearby. Our room was nice and spacious and well presented. Wooden flooring. Kettle with lots of tea and coffee in room. Desk, chairs and tables, mini fridge. Great breakfast with lots of choices and lots of space.

Italythey recommended an unreliable car service company that didn't show up, but then helped me arrange the refund. Also, I wasn't able to figure out how to use the coffeemaker in my room as the directions were unclear and the machine was not intuitive.

The breakfast was varied and would suit most tastes. The location was excellent, in a lovely area, I definitely felt safe at night. Also only a 15 minute walk to main train station, bus terminal. The walk to the train station was full of shops, bars etc. The hotel itself was friendly and the front desk were very helpful. Loved all the film artefacts in the hotel and found it a very interesting stay. Some reviews have said the furniture in the room is dated, although it is dark wood there is absolutely nothing wrong with it and didn't look old.

United States of AmericaThe staff was curt and failed to resolve basic requests. We requested extra pillows through the Booking app, and they weren't there. When I asked the front desk, they claimed the request wasn't received. Instead of having them delivered, we had to carry them up ourselves. Just a basic request and constant rude responses by staff were unacceptable.
The location was excellent, and we loved the theme.

United KingdomThis was our third visit to the hotel. We have previously been given an inside room which is quiet with no street noise. Unfortunately I forgot to ask for an inner room when booking and the one we were given, number 252 was above a bar/club on Knesebeckstrasse which proved to be a bit noisy on Friday and Saturday nights.
The breakfasts are superb. Excellent choice of good quality food. Breakfast staff very attentive and helpful. Room and bed were excellent. Always enjoy our stay at Hollywood media.

GermanyThe temperature control was not working. We complained but it was not of much help. It was very humid day and the temperature inside was very warm and the air conditioning was malfunctioning. We tried to open the window but since the room and hotel was so close to a busy rout the outside noice was bit high.

The hotel's Hollywood theme was very interesting, my son took lots of photos of the old film posters and equipment that is dotted around the place. The location is fantastic, surrounded by excellent shops and restaurants.
