the terrible condition of the room. it must have renovated the last time in 1986. the bathroom of room 609 was terrible condition. it was also very dusty.

I was staying 6 nights originally and ended up staying 7. The housekeeping was a let down. Tea/ coffee/ shower gel was not replenished even though completely gone. Coffee cups that were used were taken away and not replaced…had to use paper cups and then 3 days later two new cups appeared. If you have to change/alter a booking in anyway then expect confusion from the front desk….all 4 colleagues experienced this issue.

nice big rooms. got the breakfast once which was very nice but at €22 was a little overpriced. The tram is just across the road which will bring you to the city centre which is great.

1.Prices were much higher than before. 300-400 euro for usually 120euro rooms. 2.I had informed the reception that i would check out around 5:30 am, but when i checked out, there had been nobody at the reception for 10min, which caused my driver cancelled my trip and asked me extra 20euro for the trip.

Staff was initially nice, but incredibly lost when I came after to ask questions. The products in the hotel (which includes water) incredibly expensive, a way above the rates in other hotels and cities. however what bothered me the most was how non-responsive is the cast of the hotel. I left my charger in the room when I left, I called and the answering was extremely disappointing, i have written messages to ask, but absolutely no response from those messages either. Basically, the whole structure of the hotel is to not support the costumer at all. Definitely a place I will avoid if I can when in Düsseldorf.

The rooms are in dire needed of renovation and a bit of refreshing. The decor is outdated, the lighting was unflattering and it had a run down feel to it (bits of tapestry coming off, stains on bathroom walls, etc.). The main areas of the rooms were clean, but there were definitely corners that nobody cleaned before I got there, as there was a piece of a snack packaging in a corner that staid there until I picked it up before leaving. I also hate finding the book of mormons in a night stand, but that's just their policy I guess.

The room was spacious, mattress and pillows were comfortable. The location was very practicable for where we needed to be - though not a very pretty part of town. Service at the bar was lovely.

on the 3rd night there was slight leak coming from the bath tub, but they offered to switch rooms within seconds of us telling them, and a member of staff appeared two minutes after reporting the issue.

Staff service was excellent, nothing was too much hassle, they were incredibly attentive.

Blinds in the room do not close fully allowing sun light to come into the room early morning.

I found the staff very engaging and welcoming. Location was good for my requirements to Prowein.

I specified booking.com for a hotel close to the Düsseldorf congress centre. This hotel was reported by booking.com as being 1 mile away from the conference centre when in fact it was the other side of the Rhine! I arrived to find that I couldn’t walk to the conference and had to use public transport and taxis adding at to more than €100 added expense. Users of booking.com should take time to ensure hotel location meets requirements..

When I arrived the air conditioning was on. it was cold. impossible to turn off the air conditioning and made a lot of noise. We changed rooms three times! the key card did not open the door. finally an eventful night. more waste of time.

Air conditioning in the room was very noisy, window didn't shut properly so early morning noise from the road outside. Hotel location not the best, no bars or restaurants around the hotel. I've stayed in much better Marriott hotels.
