Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaThe room was fine. However we dropped luggage before room was ready so receptionist said he would put the luggage in the room which they did not do. They put in an unlocked room where everybody could have access to. We had to call to find out. This was really pretty bad.

GermanyIn my room I could hear the neighbors and their TV, but it was quite there from 11 PM.
The location is in a quiet place, also very close to street and public transport. Very good public transport possibilities around, one can at every time in all directions find a transport.

United KingdomPaper thin walls so you can hear all of the conversation and the tv next door to you. Ideally would include a small kettle and mugs. Also a lift or assistance with luggage (I stayed on the 4th floor and had to carry the suitcase up without assistance).
Clean rooms, comfortable beds, black out curtains and excellent use of the space. Small room, but it had everything you could need inside.

GermanyThe staff is a bit strange. Particularly the employee responsible for the breakfast is kind of weird with some comments/attitude that you would not expect from a professional hotel.
Well located hotel. Simple room with everything that you need. Lot of light and cleanliness was also fine. Breakfast was good with everything that you need.

EstoniaThe lighting in the room could be better
The location is excellent, a tram stop for going to the centre is right there, and a U+S Bahn stop is also close. The room was small, but that was already seen from the photos. The room was quiet as the hotel was in an inner courtyard. The personnel was nice, and everything was nice.

GermanyThis hotel is set back in a double courtyard in a fairly shabby building. The main entrance and reception is through this residential courtyard complex and if the front main door is locked and nobody is in Reception, one must be prepared to wait, as I did. There seemed to be skeleton staff for the entire 4 days here. This included cleaning and general staff. Often reception was unmanned. THERE IS NO LIFT!!! This was a big pain as our room was on the 4th floor. Although the reception area is tidy enough, the stairwells are shabby, with worn out red carpet that has seen far better days. The general fixtures and fittings in our room were rudimentary and although the beds were just about comfortable, the duvets, pillows and bedding were cheapest quality possible. The shower was tiny with head unit barely upright due to bad fitting. Everything worked but general upkeep was shoddy. The room was bigger than average and heating was adequate but general cleanliness and appearance was right on the edge of JUST about acceptable but on Booking.com this Hotel is listed as 3* but in reality it’s much lower standard and overpriced. I paid almost €400 including breakfast for 3 nights and in Berlin there are far better value options that are much nicer experience. The whole hotel has an air of neglect, not enough staff and needs a major refurbishment from top to bottom. I hated how the corridor lights were on 24 hours and the main bedroom door not flush so light seeped underneath. This kind of basic oversight was symptomatic of the whole place. There was a layer of dust on the back of the cistern which indicated the cleaning was both rushed. The towels did not match showing everything being done on a shoestring. I would never stay here again.
Location is OK just off north Schönhauser Allee and the M1 Tram and S-Bahn. The breakfast was decent with a very good coffee machine, good selection of bread, fresh juices and even a bottle of Sekt on Sunday.

SloveniaAs I arrived really early in the morning, there was no chance of sn esrly checkin. Had to wait till 3 pm. And the windows in the room are quite worn out and windy. Could be replaced.
Great location, very well connected with travel hubs and main city points. Despite very busy street, really quiet location in the inner courtyard. Room had everyrhing I needed with quite new furniture and the linen and towels smelled nice.

GermanyThe hotel could definitely use some renovations. Be aware that there are no lifts if you're carrying heavy luggage. I don't mind walking 4/5 flights of stairs but not everybody can do that. Cleanliness was ok but my hand towel was stained with what appeared to be blood (hopefully make-up). That sort of thing really shouldn't happen. Bring your own toiletries. Also, if you have trouble sleeping with light, know that light comes in the room from the windows and from the hallway through the door, the room isn't really dark.
The room was small but very nicely furnished, comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Location is good with easy access to public transport. Plenty of restaurant options nearby. Overall good experience and good price-quality ratio, I might stay here again.

NetherlandsThe room was clean as long as you didnt look closely at everything and you could notice that the cleaning was done to a certain height... downside of being a tall person. The beds were okay, but not great.
The location of the hotel is great, near to multiple tram stations within walking distance. The temperature in the room was good even with 4 people sleeping in it It was relatively cheap

SwitzerlandNothing in particular, but be aware it's really on the simple side, nothing fancy, no keycards but physical keys, etc.
It was a very simple but cozy and quiet room that had everything needed (I had a room with an ensuite bathroom/shower). It's a bit like a hostel but you have your own room. If you are only looking to sleep there for a few nights it's absolutely enough and a good price for what you get. Didn't have any breakfast or other things, so can't comment on that. Would go there again.
