You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

AustraliaThere was a few missing basic ammenities that were minor inconveniences but still should have been present. For example there was 6 of us staying for a week and there was only 2 rolls of toilet paper. There was no body wash in the shower, there was also no microwave. Just small things that make a big difference. There was also a handy man that arrived at 9am that we had no warning was coming … he came to ‘measure the balcony’??? Which is just weird whilst we were in bed. This was a major invasion of privacy and should never happen without due warning. I tired to call the owner multiple times and send several messages but we never received an apology or explanation for this.
The apartment is very light and spacious. Large rooms and comfy beds. The location is great, lots of shops and transport just on the street outside.

Czech RepublicParking on the street was posible, bud street was fool of cars ( maybe because of border of restrict zone and nearness of U bahn) and was realy difficult to find place. The apartment was a little bit noisy, but this fact we new forward and counted with this. In the kitchen we missed microwave oven and teapot ( there was one by cofee mashine and smelted with cofee)
Good location near U- bahn and on the border of zone with restricted entryway, near highway. Espacious apartment, well equipped. there is plenty of shops ( Lidl :) ), cofees and restaurants in neighbourhood. There is big table for 10 person, we could spend evening and morning time comfortable. We had good expirience with personal - our chidren forgot on apartment plush toys and they come back and opened apartament in short time ( bud for 20 EUR).

Staff was 15 minutes late for check-out. I had to wait until they inspected everything (even under the matrasses). You feel smoke in the rooms. You had to carry the trash out. Bureaucratic and unfriendly communication

ItalyRidiculous rules, many of which arrive only after you've booked. You have to give 200 euro deposit cash when you arrive, and 35-65 euro cash if check-in is done after 20.00 even if you tell him your arrival time weeks before (and then i had to wait half an hour under the rain because HE arrived late for the check in). If you lose your key they want you to pay to change the whole lock of the door! You can let someone go up in your room (only go up, not sleep) only after asking permission to the owner! For the check out in the morning a woman waits in front of the apartment door and at exactly 11am she rings the bell, enters and checks the room while you are still finishing packing up. Embarassing. At any time the owner can fine you (!?) by withholding the 200 euros and interrupt your stay if he decides that you have violated a rule and kick you out at any time without giving you back a single euro! And the apartment is not a castle, it's nice and clean but is in a creepy building, dilapidated with piles of abandoned rubbish. If you break something you not only have to pay him back but... add 38 euros (?!) for every hour of work he puts in to fix it. And who controls it? And everything cash, cash, cash but it's Booking I used, i want to pay under the rules of the website. Why they never wrote about the "repaying of the entire lock" in the Booking website, as an example? Never again! Don't make our same mistake!

United States of AmericaI was hung up on twice when calling to confirm a late check in. Eventually I was able to send a message about our delayed flight. Ian, the person who actually checked us in at midnight, was very nice and on time. There was a fee for the late check in of 65 Euro and I needed to have have an additional 200 Euro in cash upon arrival for deposit which was not mentioned on Booking.com. The apartment building was filled with cigarette smoke and there was graffiti in the elevator. The smoke would enter the apartment at night when the downstairs neighbor had people over late at night. However, the apartment was clean and close proximity to public transit and shops. I would not recommend a family with children staying here - especially at the price.
