“As Koln room rate is not cheap as a tourist city in general, pay US13 more and you can get a single room with private bath instead of dormitory bed of hostel. Really can’t complain for it. It’s quite worth for solo traveler. Room is a bit old in facilities but clean in basic, quite similar to student dorm (in terms of single room). Location is good just one metro stop to Dom. (Can even by foot for 15-20 minutes). Have supermarket within 5 minutes on foot.”

“Room is really good, has everything needed (some coffee, tea and a bottle of water were provided). Bed is big and comfy, there is a safe, a big wardrobe, a TV and a table, I used that for working, Wifi is really great, I had a small balcony to the innehof, so lighting and airing were no problem, room had already an AC. The bathroom is great, small and has everything needed.
Location is great, very close to the public transport, supermarket is a few hundred meters away, river as well.
There is an excellent small coffee place close by (Kaffeebar Presswerk), very recommended to pass by and try the coffee there. If not, the bar/restaurant in the hotel has good coffee as well, but not in the standard of the small coffee place close by, that coffee was the best I've had.”
