Road to the property is a bit rough

Lovely host (absolutely fantastic), grounds were highly curated and cared for, pool area was comfortable/fun, loved the wildlife around the property, River was such a fun amenity, great shower and water pressure

The only thing I can think of is you probably require a four wheel drive car to safely get to the property.

Location was fantastic, perfect distance from Uvita. you felt you were in the rain forest with great views. The owners were very helpful with tips and ideas for things to do in the area.

The casitas were beautiful, comfortable and clean. We loved that they all have views of the beautiful garden and the river and the birds and other wildlife you can enjoy from your deck is amazing! The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Chris and Kristen are fantastic hosts with so much knowledge of the area and of the flora and fauna.

The access is ok, but not recommended for first time drivers.

We arrived a bit late and Chris waited for us to give us the key and show us around. What a marvel then to wake up in the morning and take an early dive in the river just in front of the room. Kristen and Chris and really delightful hosts being in the mean time super discreet and always there as soon as you ll need a tip, a recommendation for a tour or an activity or anything you need to know. It was an incredible stay in a very special place very close from the town but still nested in the close by quiet hills.. we will definitely come back to enjoy all the great amenities, the pool and the superb private bungalows

The wifi wasn't the best so not good for working but if you don't need other than to check phone every once in awhile it is suitable.

Nothing!

Best accomodation during our 4 weeks in Costa Rica. The garden is very beautiful and the location next to the river is amazing. We don‘t really recommend it without a car, but if you are ok taking cabs on bumpy roads than it is not a problem. Our appartement with the small pool in front was just absolutely perfect. Both Uvita and Playa Hermosa are close and good for surfing. Also Dominical is not far. If we come back to Costa Rica we will definitely book again.

The place is amazing, the garden and pool are really awesome, and there is a small river next to the property that you can hike for small and private waterfalls at the end ! And the casita is perfect, very nice view and the facilities are really nice ! And both the owners and managers of the place were very friendly and responsive to our needs ! 11/10 !!

all good, but recommend a 4WD for the steep road

beautiful. the gardens on the river were a hidden treasure in the mountains. the howler monkeys calling to each other at sunrise was haunting and wonderful. family of Toucans had a nest directly across the small river. saw them in the evenings. if you are a STRONG hiker, do the walk up the hill, following all the way to Uvita and then to the beach (9mi round trip - couple hours)
