We stayed here one night and it was well-designed in its layout and shared bathroom. However it was extremely loud throughout the entire day and probably better for a younger hostel stayer. There's an outdoor hanging area for your clothes. There's no area to hang your towel so you have to lay it somewhere in your room to grab before heading into the shower. The shower is a ample-sized wet room with lots of surface area for placing your toiletry. Last but not least, we had AC and a fan in our private room which was a huge relief in May, the hottest time of the year.

The hostel was across from an open lot area where an event was happening Saturday night. Music was being played even throughout the afternoon prior and finally during the event until it ended about 10:30pm that night. There was also roosters calling throughout the entire morning and even starting again in the late afternoon.

The hotel is nice and modern. BUT I had a group of 3 people trying to forcibly enter the room at 3:30 AM, with a key provided to them by the night shift staff. It was not a case of mistaken room, they were trying to purposefully enter the room! It was harrowing, untolerable and completely uncalled for. I HAD TO CHASE THEM AWAY FROM THE DOOR, half asleep and without completely understanding what was happening.

The hotel doesn't take safety of the guests seriously. Let me repeat myself: I had a group of 3 people trying to forcibly enter the room at 3:30 AM, with a key provided to them by the night shift staff. It was not a case of mistaken room, they were trying to purposefully enter the room! It was harrowing, untolerable and completely uncalled for. I HAD TO CHASE THEM AWAY FROM THE DOOR, half asleep, half naked, and without completely understanding what was happening.

Location was great, the gardens and all outdoor amenities were beautiful!, decor is beautiful. All Staff was amazing.

Beds seemed very old and uncomfortable, they squeek when you move and some craddle in the middle. The pipes in bathroom smell like sewer very bad and its very gross when brushing teeth. Gaps on the door let some of the main road's noise in. But that to me was a minor thing as I used my earplugs.

While I did have a whole shared room to myself it wasnt nice i had the pleasure of seeing bed bugs in action on the 1st bed i chose. I switched to a different bed and the AC didn't reach my area and the light bulb in that bunk was burnt out but i thought I was safe from bed bugs. Turns out i wasn't 🙃 came straight home to wash in hot water. The trash wasn't taken out and i thought about cooking but it wasn't for me, the kitchen was not clean. I tried sitting outaide only to find every piece of furniture filthy. I didnt shower due to not trusting the sanitation of the showers. This house has potential but it needs a lot of work and potential is not good enough for the now travelers, basic hygiene is so important for everyone. Get better mattresses mattress covers and for the love of all good things hire a professional cleaner.
