There was nothing to like about this property, difficult to find and when I phoned to ask for directions, the phone was answered and hung up . Poor customer service .When we eventually found it there was no air conditioning in the room as advertised just a fan . This is false advertising and when I queried it I was told it was cool season and that they were changing from air conditioning to fans , this is very strange as it is just about coming into the hot season. The place was very tired looking and the stairway was filthy , does not look like any cleaning is done at all. No kichen just a Ho water and a microwave, no cups so could not make a coffee in the morning, you really have to be desperate to stay here.

This place has everything I could ever wanted, and then some that I didn't expect. Simple and easy check in and most things are self explanatory. Key card provided for access, spacious room, large queen bed and large bathroom with rain shower and Japanese style toilet. Large desk area, an area to hang your clothes with plenty of space for large baggage. Huge TV, mini fridge with daily water, and computer for use. The room is clean, daily with all consumables replenished daily as part of room service. Air conditioner, black out curtains with sound proof windows. Free laundry and free breakfast included, with tea and water provided in the lobby. I was very happy with this room.

These has minor bearings on my overall stay, but things I did notice. English is minimal. The staff will try their best to communicate in English but will use an app on their phone to assist with communication, which was a great resolution. The washing machine and dryer instructions are in Korean, but staff will happily assist and easy to use thereafter, detergent free also. Air conditioning is accessed by the TV remote. Despite the large bathroom, my room advertised a bathtub but there was none. Also, a shower screen/curtain would have been nice to contain the water from splashing everywhere. All electronics will turn off when the card key is removed, thus if charging something while gone, it's not going to happen. The lights of the LED indicators from the air conditioner and light switches illuminates the room at night. Had to cover up the switches to achieve some darkness. Walls are not that sound proof. Can hear the noise from my neighbours. Again, I would come back should I be back in Gwangju in the future.

The hotel is gorgeous. Everything is clean, well designed, nicely decorated, and spacious. The staff is kind and professional. There are plenty of shops you can go to without leaving the resort. I profoundly enjoyed my whole stay there.

Besides the amenities available within the resort, there is nothing much nearby. If you are looking for something special that cannot be found there, such as vegetarian food, you will need to take a cab to get somewhere else.

The room was pretty clean and tidy. The furniture was well designed & furnished. The hotel had a minimart on the lobby floor which was very convenient.

I did not like how the staff treated me after seeing my passport. At first, the staff was very helpful and polite, but after she asked for my passport and I handed my passport to check in, her attitudes towards me completely changed. I have been to over 10 countries around the world, and this was the first time that a 'hotel receptionist' treated me this way.
