Loa’s Nest had a personal touch that we didn’t experience anywhere else we stayed throughout our 10 day trip in Iceland. The room was immaculate and the common area was a wonderful space to relax or converse with others. The black out curtains were perfect for getting a good night’s sleep and the waffles & coffee in the morning added a nice personal touch. The owners were present in the morning and offered their knowledge and expertise regarding the area and things to do. We would absolutely stay here again! Thank you Loa’s Nest!

The check in was easy with a keypad to each room. Free parking. The room was spotless and comfortable. The location was great - right in the middle of all Stykkisholmur has to offer. It's definitely worth a visit when exploring the West Coast. Finally, the breakfast was delicious and set us up well for a day of exploring.

The property was very clean and had everything we needed. We even tried the restaurant for dinner and thought the food was delicious. Since we had a morning flight, the breakfast and airport shuttle came in really handy.

Our room was located directly under the restaurant and we could hear them move the tables and chairs around late at night and early in the morning (to prepare the restaurant), which was a little annoying.

Beautiful scenery, comfy and inviting common areas, breakfast was good, the hostess Maria was friendly and so helpful, and the family deluxe room had comfy beds and adequate room for four.
