The location was convenient/easy to access. My room was comfortable, very clean, beautiful views, I slept well :) I was on the 4th floor with shared bathroom and everyone was really synced up and kept things clean. I loved the shampoo/toiletries smell. The commons area had lots of resources for navigating the city as well as a plethora of books to view. I appreciated the art strewn about the establishment. The breakfast was a simple and satiating way to begin my morning. The staff were very helpful and attentive when I was in a last minute bind. Thank you for having me :) definitely recommended!

The only thing that was a bit off was in the breakfast area it was so quiet I could hear everyone chewing, etc. haha I recommend having some light music or something…

LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF BEING ON THIS BEAUTIFUL HORSE RANCH...NEXT TIME, I AM GOING TO STAY OUT THERE FOR SEVERAL DAYS. IT IS A VERY REMOTE AREA, OFF THE BEATEN PATH WITH BEAUTIFUL VIEWS AND BEAUTIFUL HORSES, SO RELAXING. The staff is absolutely amazing. We loved the owner's aunt, who was extremely hospitable. The two young ladies who took us out on our horse ride were excellent. They made sure our experience was safe, yet unforgettable! LOVE, LOVE THIS PLACE!

Best value in Iceland! Simple rooms- very clean, very organized. We stayed 2 nights for which I mistakenly booked 2 different rooms. Proprietors kindly prepared our 2nd room before we checked out of first room, thereby allowing us to just move our bags. We very much appreciated their consideration. Also, great location and good water pressure in shower!

It was an excellent and homely place to stay – great location, clean room, comfortable bed, shared kitchen and spacious living & dining area. The hosts are warm, friendly and very helpful. We had freshly-made, delicious waffles with homemade rhubarb jam and tea for breakfast. Out of all the places we stayed in Iceland this was one of the best.

The property is located in the center of the city. Perfect for everything you need. A grocery store is just on the opposite side of the street. Some restaurants are nearby. The car can be parked for free on the street from 9:00 pm to 9:00 am or close to the church where the parking is unregulated. The host is very responsive and accurate.

The room was attractive and clean. Check in was a breeze, and the chocolate was a lovely surprise. It was very easy to walk over to the hostel for delicious meals. I enjoyed walking the footpath in the woods across the street. Nice location on the Golden Circle!

We spend such a cozy night in this cottage, the bunk bed was amazingly comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The cottage was overall very clean. Would definitely return!

As others have said: the bathroom is a bit problematic, as it fills up with water after a shower. Maybe shower before leaving :-)
